Hi, I’m the face behind the pet portraits! For the past 10 years I’ve been turning beloved pets into lasting pieces of art 🐾 I specialise in capturing the little details that make your pet your pet – the expressions, the personality, and the quirks that make them family, not just animals. 🫶🏻 When I’m not drawing, I’m usually surrounded by reference photos, covered in pencil dust, and talking to pets like they understand every word (because honestly… they do). 🤍 Thank you to everyone who has trusted me to draw their best friends over the years – it truly means everything ❤️ 📩 Commissions: [open - sale ends friday 20th march] 📍 Based in [West Yorkshire] 🐾 DM for enquiries - - - #fyp #viral #gettoknowme #petportrait #artist by @izzyillustratess
🔔 PRICE UPDATE 🔔 Hi everyone 🤍 I wanted to share a small update about my pricing. Over the past year and a bit, the cost of materials, packaging, and postage has increased quite a bit. I’ve tried my best to absorb these changes for as long as possible, but to keep creating the quality and detail I put into every portrait, I’ve had to make the difficult decision to adjust my prices slightly. This wasn’t something I wanted to do, but it means I can continue to give each piece the time, care, and attention your pets truly deserve 🐾 Thank you so much for your continued support, it honestly means the world to me and allows me to keep doing what I love every day. If you have any questions or are interested in booking a portrait, feel free to message me anytime 💌 Love, Izzy Illustrates ✍🏼 ✨ - - - #fyp #artistssupportingartists #smallbusiness #viral #petsofinsta by @izzyillustratess
a little face behind the artwork & a very overdue thank you. 🥹🤎 i don’t think i’ll ever quite get used to the fact that people choose me to create something so personal and special for them. whether you’ve commissioned a portrait, recommended me to someone, shared my work or simply stuck around to support my little business, it genuinely means more than you know. every single order allows me to keep doing something i absolutely adore, and the fact that so many of you trust me to capture your beloved pets is something i’ll never take for granted. it’s been such a lovely (and busy!) year, and with christmas fast approaching, i’m feeling especially grateful for every single one of you. so here’s a little thank you, from the woman behind the pencils. 🐾🖤 lots of love, izzy x - - - #petportraitartist #smallbusinessowner #supportsmallartists #petportraitsofinstagram #artistsofinstagram by @izzyillustratess
three very special little faces are making their way across the atlantic to their forever home in america 🥹🤍🇺🇸 it still feels so surreal knowing that my artwork is travelling across the world. forever grateful that people trust me to capture their beloved pets in pencil 🤍 #petportraitartist #colouredpencilart #petportraitcommission #realisticpetportraits #internationalorders by @izzyillustratess
funny how things work out 🤎 10 years later and i’m still here, drawing pets for a living and somehow calling it work. very grateful for every portrait, every booking and everyone who’s supported my little business along the way ✏️ my books are open at the minute, so if you’ve been thinking about getting your little one drawn, come have a chat with me 🐾🤎 #petportraitartist #petportraits #colouredpencilartist #smallbusinessuk #petartist by @izzyillustratess
“tell me more about yourself” well… i draw people’s pets for a living, drink an unreasonable amount of caffeine and spend most of my time sat in a nest of pencil shavings 😂✏️ that pretty much covers it! if you’ve been thinking about getting a portrait done for christmas, my diary is open now 🎄🐾 message me to book yours 🫶🏻✨💌 - - - #petportraitartist #petportrait #custompetportrait #petartist #christmasgiftideas by @izzyillustratess
happy 5th birthday to my little studio assistant, supervisor & professional pencil interrupter 🥹🤎 mona has been by my side through so many hours of drawing, packing portraits and building izzy illustrates, usually contributing absolutely nothing other than sitting directly where i need to work 😂 can’t quite believe my little girl is 5 already. happy birthday mona 🐈‍⬛🎂🤎 - - - - #catbirthday #blackcat #studiocat #petportraitartist #catsofuk by @izzyillustratess
two versions of ellie, one portrait 🐾 one reference photo from when ellie was younger, and another of her as an old lady. years apart, but still unmistakably ellie in both. 🤎 i loved bringing these two stages of her life together in one portrait. drawn entirely by hand using prismacolor coloured pencils ✏️ only 2 spaces left for september! commissions are also open for christmas bookings, dm me to enquire. ✉️ #petportrait #petportraitartist #colouredpencilart #dogportrait #petartist by @izzyillustratess
screw AI, i drew it myself ✏️ every portrait you see here is drawn completely by hand, one pencil stroke at a time. no AI. no filters. no shortcuts. just hours of drawing, a ridiculous amount of pencils and a lot of love 🖤 when you commission a portrait from me, you’re not just buying an image, you’re supporting a real artist and receiving an original piece of artwork created especially for you and your pet. christmas commissions are filling up, so if you’d love your own, drop me a message 🎄🐾 - - - #petportraitartist #noai #handdrawnart #supportartists #petportraits by @izzyillustratess
