In this week’s edition of Izzy’s Rookies to Watch… we’ve got 34th pick Meleek Thomas.

Thomas could be a sneaky-good fit next to Donovan Mitchell and James Harden. The shooting is real, the defensive activity is there, and I’m watching to see how quickly he earns a role.

What do you think, hoops fans?⬇️

@davidmirk0vic could be one of the biggest breakout stars in college basketball this season. The talent is there. The production is already there. Now it’s about putting it all together.

13.3 PPG. 8 RPG. A Final Four run… as a FRESHMAN.

Now imagine the sophomore leap. 📈

🐂 3 games, 3 takeaways.

The Bulls have shown offensive potential, Caleb Wilson is one to watch, but questions remain about the frontcourt and defensive consistency.

It’s only preseason, but there are already a few things worth keeping an eye on 👀

What’s the bigger concern for Chicago: the lack of size or defensive consistency?

🎥 Episode 2 of Izzy’s Rookies to Watch
Bruce Thornton is a 4-year college vet, a physical guard, and a guy who knows how to RUN AN OFFENSE.

With Houston needing reliable guard play, don’t be surprised if he works his way into the rotation.

Remember the name.

The Bulls play basketball tonight in their first preseason game of this 2026-27 season!

Bulls vs. Suns at the United Center. I’m watching the pace, the defense, and observing what this young core can do from the minute the clock starts.

This is the first look at what Chicago is building.
