That was a true gift to share my first show back east.

To a place that holds so much of my being. Thank you @comedybrooklyn for having me and opening the doors to perform in my birth state.

AND. Philly Fringe. @cannonballfest @fringearts. Thank for the great stage, tech and welcoming community. Sad to say I had to cancelled my last show bc of some sicks of sicks were caught…but I thank you for the opportunity to share my show there. It was so sweet.

And it was such a gift to share this show with my mom and sister. And to the friends of the the first “chosen” family before we knew of such a term. We were the weirdos and we found each other way back then and I thank you all for coming out and supporting this filthy habit I now do. Cheers to the unknowns of the next and giddy up to all🐎

Beat beat beat.
It’s ok to be soft. It’s ok to address the things that make the inside thump. It’s ok to rest and it’s ok to wake up before the birds.
It’s ok to question and not to express it to the world. I found a special pebble once and then I lost it, that’s ok too. It’s ok not to define it and sit in the uncomfortable of not having it all boxed up in identity…

To know one another is to know many stories.
To know part of me is to know my story of how I found improv @finestcityimprov and my fetus halloween story of 2010…..

I retold the halloween fetus story at a storytelling event called “what are friends for” for @impridefestival in San Diego in 2023.

With the sparks of inspiration of retelling that story, grapple with my first year of discovering myself within the pieces of deep loss and grief, to being highly inspired by the rad things that I was seeing and open to in the Bay Area, (mostly by the female artists) and getting myself back to say yes to opportunities on the sacred stage….I questioned and pondered….

and whamo blamo with the support and energy from the things that I said yes too and my dear newly found friends, exploration of ideas,observations, classes, coaching, I buckled in and ran with the inspiration to create a full show, The Fetus Show….a big heart2heart.

It means a lot to return back to Pennsylvania. A place that hold my wild, my innocence, a place I never shared my voice in this way before.

Thank you for having me, Philadelphia @fringearts @cannonballfest , it means so much to share this show with you, my family and my dear dear friends that have known my wild before I found the escape of the stage; and you still don’t cast me away, well I been close…
From where so much of myself started and where so much of me is held to the modern day of living and discovering this sweet mid life.

I’m feeling excited to be getting ready to bring
THE FETUS SHOW to Brooklyn @comedybrooklyn Sep 18th and to Philadelphia @fringearts @cannonballfest Sep 24-27..

Both hold some of my root, Brooklyn; to the borough where many of my relatives lived life, where my grandparents married, mom was born….so sentimental to be performing this show there.
Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) ; to my heart friends, my teenage dreams, sharing my show with my mom and sister.

I’m coming up on my 13th year in California and just past my 5th in San Francisco...time is a journey and nothing at all. Before I moved west, I was debating New York or Philadelphia….sorry California you go me for now, hehe. First time ever performing in my First Home place and… I’m excited.

Giddy up!

Here we go Pennsylvania and excited to announce being apart of the @cannonballfest, which is a hub of the Philly Fringe Festival @fringearts

It means a lot and it’s a gift to be bring “The Fetus Show” back to the place that holds such a deep part of my root. Pennsylvania.

I found improv comedy a few years after moving to California in 2015. That was the first time I ever really performed on a stage.

Although my people in PA are no stranger to my wild and being a weirdo…I can’t wait to share my show to the place I go back to when I have the courage to face all the things, the memories, the woods, the country, the faith. the searching. the escaping.

I dedicate this set of shows to the adolescence spirit.
Something I come back to especially more recent to face, to heal, to hold, to care for, to return to….

Thanks so much for the opportunity and I’m nervous and so stoked to share.

There is no denying I grew up in the woods of Pennsylvania.

Having identity as an American is weird, it’s like something we are constantly searching for, trying to claim, trying to reclaim over and over again, trying to make sense of. Fragmented. Easily identifying ourselves on outside forces, often forgetting to look what’s within the root, its simple and yet feels too deep.

But one thing I have said since a child “ I’m not from here, I’m from New York”….it where my extended family was, where we went on vacations, it’s where my parents were born, it’s the the city I romanticized… it’s where my grandparent and great grandparents strolled and work. Where my parents fell in love, where my siblings became kids. Where I was born, the ocean I first learned to swim in(thanks Dad)….something….something is there, something has always been there tugging at my root.

I’m stoked to announce I will be bringing
The Fetus Show to east coast in September.

First stop in New York at
Brooklyn Comedy Collective @comedybrooklyn on September 18th at 7:00, it all seems fitting and I’m stoked.

And then to my heart PA! for the Philly Fringe (more to come to that)

Opening up for visiting clown @aronlled_comedy with the show “ I am a Snail” and my pal @allfenner. Stoked!

July 24th at 9 @alloutcomedytheater with @puppetpartypresents

July 26th at 7 @provocationtheatre for their YasAnd Fest.

New things. Different bit each time. Still unsure Fetus. Stoked and inspired.

Mabuhay Gardens is hosting a spectacular lineup of clowns! One night only!

Headliner:
Nora Dell: I am a Snail is a bold alt-comedy fever dream. This show takes the question “would you still love me if I were a snail” to its furthest illogical extreme. Expect a snail from Eastern Europe, a powerful song-and-dance, a hostage negotiation, and…puppets (just kidding, unless…).

Opening Acts:
Dorothy Samsonite: An old money sheltered rube trying to experience what it’s like to be an artist.

I miss talking to you most. But here we are four years later and life gets more simpler to take in and more deep at the same time. The strive to want things to be different but the freedom in acceptance in the nature of it all. It all tends to make more sense in the end….grief has been one of my biggest natural teacher. My birthday will always be the first and last time we spoke and when I sit with that….what beauty it all can be. Like a passing of a yellow jeep or the hummingbirds that find their way to me this week. There’s no reason to waste a life trying to find or defend all the answers.
