ADVICE.

Life is not one size fits all, and everybody will certainly have a different experience. It is important to remember that the most growth happens through adversity and discomfort, and often times the most important lessons in life are the ones we choose not to hear. by @jackalope_jiujitsu

Are you afraid? Good. Do it anyway.

True growth only happens when we settle into our own discomfort and push past our limits, mentally and physically.

Strength and Honor. by @jackalope_jiujitsu

When I see @jackalope_03 train/compete I get a little 🤏🏽 envious of his movement I want to do flying whatever’s, but I like smashing and pressure too much 😂. @ohanaacademy_hq @ibjjf #sanantonioibjjf #bjjlife #photography #sonyalpha #fightsports by @jackalope_jiujitsu

BLITZKRIEG

This weekend I was able to secure Gold at the 2026 San Antonio Jiujitsu Open.
First off, I’d like to thank God for giving me the opportunity to share the mats with some of the best athletes in the world.
I’d like to thank my coaches and professors, teammates and opponents. Thank you for all the guidance and lessons I’ve received. @manuelaguilarjj @ohanaacademy_hq
I’d like to thank my family and friends that have supported me on this journey to become the athlete that I am today.
This weekend was full of energy, doubt, excitement, opportunity and violence. I can’t ask for more than that. With 2 matches and 2 submissions within the first couple minutes, Lightning war is where I found my rhythm.

Special thanks to @gripandframephotography for the killer action shots 🤙🏽 by @jackalope_jiujitsu

SCALPS

The intensity of combat sports is not something that can be easily replicated. It must take 2 adversary’s that want the exact same achievement and are willing to fight for it. In our current society, most shy away from the discomfort of conflict, but for those that are willing to lay it all down and endure the struggle, the fruits are unmatched.
At the end of the day, warriors will seek to fight warriors.
Just like in life, some days you’re the victor, some days you’re the trophy. by @jackalope_jiujitsu

IRISH GOLD.

First off I’d like to thank God for blessing me with the courage and strength to go forth on this adventure and bring the fruits of our labor home.

I’d also like to thank my Ohana family for all the countless hours we’ve drilled and rolled on the mats.

Thank you for my friends and family that have seen me on my best and worst days this past year and have continued to support me in my goals and passions.

Special thanks to my Professors that have given me the extra time and knowledge to be able to preform at my highest potential yet. by @jackalope_jiujitsu

When you realize your training partner for the day has that DOG in em. 😤🐕🤙🏽 by @jackalope_jiujitsu

It takes a person of an entirely different makeup to wake up in the morning and actively choose violence.
Keep showing up! 1% Better everyday 🤌🏽🤙🏽#jiujitsu #therapy #veteran #mentalhealth #fyp by @jackalope_jiujitsu
