Bank of Canada Lowers Interest Rate Again! 🏦

This morning, as widely anticipated, the Bank of Canada cut its benchmark interest rate by 25 basis points, bringing it down to 4.25%. This is the third consecutive rate reduction, driven by ongoing declines in inflationary pressure.

Governor Tiff Macklem stated, “If inflation continues to ease broadly in line with our July forecast, it is reasonable to expect further cuts in our policy rate.”

Inflation dropped to 2.5% in July, with core inflation also decreasing. Early data suggests that economic activity remained weak in June and July, and employment growth has recently plateaued.

What does this mean for your real estate portfolio? With rates likely to drop further, now is the perfect time to review your personal and investment goals, as it pertains to Real Estate. Whether you’re considering buying, selling, or investing, positioning yourself strategically is key.

Let’s connect and discuss how to make the most of these market conditions! by @jackcherry5

Some neighbourhoods are popular. Roncesvalles is personal.

It’s where Saturday mornings stretch a little longer, coffee is grabbed from the corner café, and errands happen on foot — familiar faces appearing along the way. Here, independent bookstores, bakeries, century-old storefronts and neighbourhood institutions still define the streetscape. A simple walk can take you through High Park’s wooded trails, down to the Sunnyside waterfront, or into an evening that starts with dinner and lingers long after the sun has set.

Suite 210 at 437 Roncesvalles Avenue sits at the centre of it all.

JUST PURCHASED: 143B Silver Birch Ave
🌊 The Beach

There’s something about the Beach; like the tide, it draws you closer. So much more than a lakeside community, it’s a place that shifts with the seasons, where life moves with it and you find yourself falling in love here over and over again.

Watching these clients (turned friends!) make the neighbourhood their own has been a joy. From those early walks as they found their footing in the east, to buying their first home, to welcoming a little one, they’ve woven themselves into the community with such ease.

Securing this show-stopping four-bedroom forever home felt like the most natural next step; an evolution as organic as the rhythm of the waves.

Getting in before MLS gave them the time and space to truly imagine their future here (before the rest of the public!), and with that clarity came a confident pre-emptive offer that sealed the deal.

It’s easy to picture the years ahead, Balmy drop-offs, family dinners, holiday traditions, and a lifetime of memories unfolding both inside and beyond these walls. by @jackcherry5
