Hiking Acatenango and Fuego Volcanoes was easily one of the toughest things I’ve done (so far)…

9 miles and over 13,000 ft above sea level later, after being pushed to your limits, you’re standing there watching a volcano erupt right in front of you and suddenly your perspectives on life start to shift…

And you’re left there realizing every single step was worth it 🌋🇬🇹

Wasn’t planning on doing any hiking in Costa Rica… then a random conversation led me to a series of waterfalls in the middle of something straight out of a movie scene. Funny how the detours always end up becoming the highlight of the trip. 🇨🇷✨

My biggest fear has always been not living enough…
Of holding onto what was… instead of stepping into what could be.

So I started leaving.

Not just places, but versions of myself that no longer fit.

Because every time I travel, I don’t just see something new…
I become someone new.

Travel, to me, isn’t escape.
It’s discovery. It’s intention. It’s growth.

And the more I lean into the unknown,
the more I realize, this is where life actually begins.

If you stay where you’ve always been,
you will keep thinking the same thoughts, living the same story.

There’s more out there. And there’s more in you.

Never stop chasing waterfalls. 🌊

Never stop seeking adventure.
Never stop chasing the thrill.
Never stop exploring the unknown.
Never stop chasing your dreams.
Never stop making memories.
Never stop living. ✌🏽 by @jackdmontgomery

Book the flight. Take the trip. Go with some cool people. Or go alone and meet new ones…. You can’t add more days to your life but you can add more life to your days 🇨🇷✨🤙🏽
