• A relatively small country, yet its influence on the world is immeasurable.

From the art that shaped generations, to the architecture that stood the test of time. The music, the food, the fashion, the philosophy, the culture.

Italy is proof that greatness isn’t measured by the size of a country, but by the mark it leaves on the world.

Centuries have passed, empires have fallen, yet somehow, the world is still learning from Italy.

Small in size. Timeless in influence. 🇮🇹 by @jacksonxmedia

• Scattered across the Indian Ocean are some of the most beautiful atolls on the planet.

Thousands of tiny islands, coral reefs and lagoons stretching across an almost endless expanse of ocean.

From above, you really get a sense of the scale. Atoll after atoll, separated by deep blue water, each forming its own little world.

Pretty incredible to think about how much exists out here, far beyond the small pieces of land we actually see. by @jacksonxmedia

• I was so busy chasing the next chapter that I forgot to read the one I was in.
I went to Italy expecting beautiful places.
What I found was a different way of living.
Somewhere between the slow mornings, long lunches, ancient streets, and conversations that never seemed to end, I realised how much of my life I’d spent thinking about what came next.
The next job.
The next flight.
The next milestone.
Italy reminded me that life isn’t something to rush through.
It’s something to notice.
I came home with thousands of photos and videos.
But the greatest thing I brought back wasn’t on a memory card.
It was the reminder that the life we’re chasing is often the one we’re already living. by @jacksonxmedia

• Surfing with whales 🐋

On my lunch break, I sent the drone up to check the surf.

Within minutes, I spotted a few whales, and they just happened to be sharing the lineup with @harrisrobinson

Winter on the east coast is something special. The crowds thin out, the water turns crystal clear, and every now and then you’re lucky enough to witness moments like this from above.

It’s a reminder that slowing down for half an hour can sometimes lead to the best part of your day.

Side note: One of the whales appeared to have something wrapped around its body. I can’t confirm what it was from the drone footage, but it looked concerning enough that we reported it so the appropriate authorities could assess its welfare. Hoping it’s okay. 🐋🤍 by @jacksonxmedia

• Nobody tells you this about Italy…

It isn’t the landmarks that stay with you.

It’s the church bells echoing through quiet streets, the smell of fresh espresso drifting from cafés before sunrise, the conversations that last for hours, and the way centuries of history become part of everyday life.

Italy doesn’t ask you to rush.

It teaches you to slow down. by @jacksonxmedia
