Valencia Week 13 πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ A good week. A bigger week. A successful week.☝🏽 Ended with an enjoyable race at the Stroud Half! Felt seriously smooth cruising at MP in blustery conditions!πŸ†πŸ’¨ Consistently ticking off the higher mileage weeks and can definitely feel they’re working! πŸ“ˆ 4 huge weeks of training left before the taper. Ready to test the body a bit more and celebrate in December πŸŽ‰ @worldwiderunningtribe @sayskycph #marathontraining #runninglifestyle #marathonrunning #ukrunning #runnersofinstagram by @jacob_picko

Good run out today @stroudanddistrictac half marathon!! πŸƒπŸ½β€β™‚οΈ The aim was to run round with @maxwell__kelly and try a clock a nice little time - wind had other ideas mind πŸ˜‚ Hilly and windy but a great day out all round! Happy to get the win and felt really great doing so! Body’s in a great spot right now and if I can keep feeling like that then there’s an exciting few weeks ahead πŸ™ŒπŸΌ 🎽- @sayskycph @worldwiderunningtribe #halfmarathon #halfmarathonwinner #marathontraining #marathonplan #runnersofig by @jacob_picko

Valencia Week 10 πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ Over half way now and this week I only had one thing in mind… sub 67 at the @mcrhalf πŸ’ͺ🏽 This week was a taper week, and it felt good to only have a few days of running once. Bit of a shock to the body if anything! 120km down week led to a 1:06:51 clocking and a 30second PB! πŸ₯³ super happy with where I am at right now! Ahead of where I was over a year ago and still hungry to make gains!πŸ“ˆ 8 weeks out from Valencia and it’s so class to see so many runners getting fit for it! Kudos to everyone training hard, really inspiring all round! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ Thank you always for the support! πŸ™πŸ½ #marathontraining #halfmarathonpb #halfmarathon #runnersofinstagram #runningmotivation by @jacob_picko

Valencia Week 8 πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ A special week for me! It’s been years since I’ve been able to run my hometown half marathon. Having missed it through injury, education or holidays πŸ˜‚ Kept the week honest and mileage high as it’s not the main goal, but wow what a race it was!! The support and streets were incredible! πŸ‘πŸΌ Managed to hold the front for a good 10/11 miles before the other two gents @dom_james1 and @petermolloy_ handled the hills better, but genuinely so happy with the day as a whole! Running with your mates, as well as hearing the cheers from friends and family made it such a wicked day 🀩 One more big week before the taper into Manchester half where we go for the sub 67mins!! πŸ’ͺ🏽 Thank you so much for all the support along the way, means so much 🫢🏻 @sayskycph @worldwiderunningtribe ⭐ #hometown #ukrunning #runnersofig #halfmarathon #marathontraining by @jacob_picko

Was such a good experience with crazy support all the way round! Dug in and led for a solid 10/11 miles keeping the pace honest! πŸ‘ŒπŸ½ Massive grats to the king of the Cheltenham Half @dom_james1 for another win in the event! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ 2 weeks to go til Manchester where we ball out and go for that sub 67… 🫑 @sayskycph @worldwiderunningtribe @runcheltenham ⭐️ #runcheltenham #cheltenhamrunning #cheltenhamhalfmarathon #halfmarathontraining #halfmarathon by @jacob_picko
