I’ve found a support group so we have support for each other 💪🏻 YOU ARE NOT ALONE! For parents who has children with ASD, I feel you! It’s not an easy journey but keep on striving 💪🏻 YOU CAN DO THIS! salam dan hi semua, today saf nak share jacob edruce’s ot journey at @ed.therapy part 4! alhamdulillah dah masuk sebulan jacob experience occupational therapy disini dan setakat ini, i’m very satisfied and happy with his positive progress 😁 as a parent with autism child, early intervention memang sangat penting dan terutamanya occupational therapy sebab ianya akan membantu to identify and address sensory differences that may be causing barriers to learning 👍🏻 This can help people with autism become calmer and more focused, dan membantu untuk fine dan gross motor skill. Eventually it will lead to his speech skill too, Insyallah ❤️ and of course, saf akan continue hantar @jacobedruce dekat @ed.therapy sebab jacob sudah semakin selesa dengan teachers dan banyak outcome yang positive. saf suggest untuk parents hantar anak untuk assessment di @ed.therapy supaya teachers dapat identify issues dan bantu anak untuk progress dengan cepat. doakan @jacobedruce untuk terus excel di @ed.therapy ya 🤲🏻🥹 if you have children that has issues in sensory or speech delay, highly recommend untuk parents hantar untuk assessment dekat @ed.therapy jadi parents akan tahu which therapy suitable for their children. that’s why early intervention is important! earlier is better ❤️ #JacobEdruce #JacobEdruceASDJourney #JacobEdruceatEDTherapy #4yo #embracingdevelopment #autism #autismawareness #specialneedschildren #occupationaltherapy #speechtherapy #speechdelay by @jacobedruce
Salam and Hi Semua! 👋🏻 This is @JacobEdruce’s 3rd OT (Occupation Therapy) with @ed.therapy. Jacob still experiencing Separation Anxiety tetapi Alhamdulillah, teacher pandai ambil hati Jacob dan banyak buat aktiviti sensory 👍🏻 Most individuals on the autism spectrum experience difficulty with sensory processing, so Occupational therapy is particularly effective in not only helping children with autism to refine gross and fine motor skills, but to also filter information and manage environmental stimuli 😌 At the end of the session, macam biasa the teachers ada bagi feedback tentang Jacob semasa dalam therapy, Alhamdulillah memang semakin banyak improvement dari segi eye-contact and problem solving, syukur sangat 🤲🏻❤️ If you have children that has issues in sensory or speech delay, highly recommend untuk parents hantar untuk assessment dekat @ed.therapy jadi parents akan tahu which therapy suitable for their children. That’s why early intervention is important! Earlier is better ❤️ Til @JacobEdruce 4th session at @ed.therapy next week, tak sabar! #JacobEdruce #JacobEdruceASDJourney #JacobEdruceatEDTherapy #4yo #embracingdevelopment #autism #autismawareness #specialneedschildren #occupationaltherapy #speechtherapy #speechdelay by @jacobedruce
Salam and Hi Semua! 👋🏻 This is @JacobEdruce’s 2nd OT (Occupation Therapy) with @ed.therapy. At first he cried (as expected) since he is still getting used to the weekly routine. But Alhamdulillah, his teachers pandai pujuk 🥰 Nampaknya Jacob dah mula serasi dan semakin focus bila buat aktiviti dengan teachers dia 👍🏻 Actually as a parents, kita pun kena continue buat aktiviti dengan anak-anak dirumah juga barulah cepat progress positive. Percayalah anak-anak special needs ni memang sangat bijak 😀 At the end of the session, the teachers ada bagi feedback tentang Jacob semasa dalam therapy dan Alhamdulillah Jacob lebih banyak berinteraksi dan boleh mengikut arahan 👍🏻as a mom, memang sangat puas hati dapat jumpa tempat therapy macam ni. Semoga @JacobEdruce akan lebih banyak improvements untuk next session 🥰 If you have children that has issues in sensory or speech delay, highly recommend untuk parents hantar untuk assessment dekat @ed.therapy jadi parents akan tahu which therapy suitable for their children. That’s why early intervention is important! Earlier is better ❤️ Til @JacobEdruce 3rd session at @ed.therapy next week, tak sabar! #JacobEdruce #JacobEdruceASDJourney #JacobEdruceatEDTherapy #4yo #embracingdevelopment #autism #autismawareness #specialneedschildren #occupationaltherapy #speechtherapy #speechdelay by @jacobedruce
Salam and Hi Semua! 👋🏻 Since @JacobEdruce was diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), I have been struggling to find a suitable center to conduct his OT (Occupational Therapy) until I’ve found @ed.therapy 😀 Alhamdulillah, after his first assesment at the center, Jacob seems to be comfortable and happy so that makes me decided to send him there. As for his first day for the therapy, dari rumah Jacob dah excited! 😆 Tapi bila sampai center macam dah expected that he will cry a bit which is normal but soon after, he was already playing and having fun at the gym room. Lega mommy dia hehe 😅 Jacob actually ada sensory seeking issues and he is non-speaking as of now. That’s why OT is going to be very beneficial for him because it’s going to tackle his cognitive, physical, social and motor skill 👍🏻 The teachers dekat @ed.therapy pun memang highly trained for special needs kids ❤️ Masa first therapy session, they spend time to bond relationship with Jacob dan banyak aktiviti yang dilakukan together which is very good 😁 At the end of the session, the teachers ada beritahu progress Jacob semasa dalam therapy dan Alhamdulillah Jacob ada beri kerjasama but of course, it’s still early and hopefully @JacobEdruce will continue to excel dan show improvements for the next session 👍🏻😃 If you have children that has issues in sensory or speech delay, highly recommend untuk parents hantar untuk assessment dekat @ed.therapy jadi parents akan tahu which therapy suitable for their children. That’s why early intervention is important! Earlier is better ❤️ Til @JacobEdruce next session at @ed.therapy next week, can’t wait! #JacobEdruce #JacobEdruceASDJourney #JacobEdruceatEDTherapy #4yo #embracingdevelopment #autism #autismawareness #specialneedschildren #occupationaltherapy #speechtherapy #speechdelay by @jacobedruce
Salam and Hi All! 👋🏻 @JacobEdruce has sensitive skin so I’ve always struggle to find suitable diapers for him until I’ve found Merries Pants Diapers! I love how soft and it was made using superior breathable sheet (it has 5 billion holes!) so it’s gentle to delicate skin 👍🏻 It’s designed for my active son with airy channels around the waist, and a gather that extends to 2.5 times for ultime comfort and it has long hour absorbency 😃 so he can jump, play and discover the world comfortably 🛝🧸 Thank you to @Kiddocaremy and @mymerries for letting us try the amazing diapers! ❤️ Highly recommended 👍🏻 #SafShares #MommySafShares #MommySafApproved #JacobEdruce #Kiddocare #TryShareWin #MYMerries #MerriesWonderland #MadeInJapan #SmileandSmilewithMerries #DiaperReview by @jacobedruce
Me and the kids, @josseffedryan & @jacobedruce had the best time at @junglegymplayland NEW outlet at @thestarlingmall 😊 First, the gym was near to our home and both of my kids really enjoyed their time! The space was quite big (Atria was bigger) but they do have kids go-kart so that’s a bonus point 🏎️👍🏻 There’s also a cafe just beside the play area so you can enjoy some food and drinks (they were good 😋) while looking after your children. I believed we spend a good 3 hours and I even had some gym time (climbing ups and down, running after your child is a workout lol 😅). Let me know if you can share your fave indoor playground around klang valley 😃 so I know where to bring the kids next time 😍 #SafShares #MommySafShares #MommySafApproved #JungleGym #StarlingMall #PlaygroundMalaysia #JosseffEdryan #8yo #JacobEdruce #4yo by @jacobedruce
Salam and Hi Hi Hi! #SafShares #MommySafShares #safinassab #SafinasSabHonestReview #SuuBalmMY #MadeToSoothe #JacobEdruce by @jacobedruce
Bismillah and Alhamdulillah, Me and my dear neighbour, @morningheidi has decided to start our #homeschooljourney with #MyGeniuzKidsHomeschoolandMontessori dedicated for our children; @JosseffEdryan (7yo), Heidi (4yo) and @JacobEdruce (3yo) 👦🏻👦🏻👦🏻 It’s been hard to find a suitable kindergarten for @JacobEdruce since he has ASD, EIP classes are expensive and normal kindy won’t accept him 🙃 that’s just a fact that I need to face but I truly believe the best therapist for him is MYSELF. I know him better than anyone else so that’s why I’m taking ABAT course soon but before that, I need to start somewhere, which is from my own home 🏡 But homeschool doesn’t mean that we need to stay at home all the time, and I hate to think that my children are trapped inside the classroom without able to enjoy the outdoors or going to groceries. Normal kindy need to plan in advance, just to bring the kids to the zoo for example. For us, we can go anytime we want, wherever we want 😀 We also plan to go for a staycation, jalan-jalan malaysia and even overseas #soundsfun 😁 We are also able to create our own timetable, any themes or subject we would want to teach 👍🏻 there’s so many informations and guidance on homeschooling. I also designed the children’s t-shirt with their own name(s)! Super cute right? 😉 On the first day we went to indoor playground, then we went to groceries to learn about the vegetables and fruits, we also let the kids to touch and feel ‘buah salak’ and smell the ‘daun pandan’. They learned to weight the items they bought, push the trolley and pay for things by themself 👍🏻 Do doakan for us ya? May Allah help us along the way, Insyallah 🤲🏻 #MyGeniuzKids #MyGeniuzKidsHomeschoolandMontessori #JosseffEdryan #JacobEdruce #SafShares #MommySafShares #MommySafParentingTips #HomeschoolMalaysia #MontessoriMalaysia by @jacobedruce
Alhamdulillah, I was crowned as the winner for @happikiddo_ x @beaba.my cooking showdown yesterday! 🤩 I’ve always enjoy cooking and when I introduced Baby Led Weaning to my son, @JacobEdruce 3 years ago, I’ve been cooking up a storm for him! Previously, I had to steam or blend or cook rice/pasta using a different tool but with @beaba.my’s babycook neo, you can make any type of food 😋 It was my first time using it, and I made Nasi Lemak Ayam with Sambal Strawberry (yes, very ambitious! 😅) I really thought that I’m not gonna make it at first, but the dish came out beautifully and yummy too 😃 it’s easy to use and who would have thought that you can make nasi lemak with the sambal within 30 minutes?! yes parents, you def need @beaba.my babycook in your kitchen 👍🏻 I had so much fun yesterday hanging out with all the mommies! The event went well and it’s so nice to see some familiar faces 😀 The crew was super friendly, the food and drinks was yummy too 😋 I just want to say a huge Thank You for everyone who has been so supportive 💕 especially to my kids, @josseffedryan and @jacobedruce who always eat my cooking, you are my inspirations 😍 I also want to wish congratulations to my fellow mommies contestants; Hada (@irissukamakan’s ibu) and @nursuhaidasuhod 😘 we are all winners 🏆 Can’t wait to create more recipes using my brand new Beaba Babycook Neo! Stay tune 😍 #safinassab #SafShares #MommySafShares #MommySafApproved #Happikiddo #BeabaMalaysia #HappikiddoxBeaba by @jacobedruce
