I have been in the salon industry for over 35 years and I realize I have been coaching all along as friendships are developed and as my clients and I go through life together as we Check in every 4-6 weeks . Many have coached me also 🌸. This is a natural and intentional decision for me to move into this direction for my new season of life . Now that I am 60 years young with a bit of experience under my belt , I understand what inspires me and what has kept me inspired to “do hair “ , manage a salon , teach and train salon techs to be successful all these years . A common thread through it all is encouraging others to feel good about who they are and to help them see and discover their potential and understand that they matter and what they do can have such purpose and impact . I love to see others grow forward as they breakthrough old mindsets that no longer serve them and reach goals they never thought possible ! That brings me joy ! This is what I will continue to bring as a life coach and a teacher and speaker . I am stepping outside my comfort zone by putting this out here but I desire to grow and be challenged in new ways , I decided I can’t let this dream and idea die inside of me I have to say YES ! Because there are people on the other side of my yes that just may be ready to grow forward also ! 🤗🌸 by @jacquelineannkneller

Saying goodbye to a dear forever friend is so hard to do . So thankful for you @sueizzy . I have had the privilege of knowing Sue and serving her in my salon chair for over 25 years . We shared so much of our lives and walked through a lot of events together as we visited during her time at the salon . It’s amazing how many problems you can solve and life you can share in a salon visit 😊❤️. I have roughly figured out that we had 600+hours together over approximately 400 or more visits . I have come to love her family also . I took care of her mother Betty for many years and she was a jewel also and lived to 90+ years. Sue has 5 beautiful children and now grandchildren. I feel close to them just by knowing how much she loved them and all the life she did with them . They honored her so affectionately at her funeral and even her oldest 13 yo grandchild spoke with such love and honor at the funeral representing all the younger grandchildren. Sue brought such light and joy into the room and was such a gracious , generous lady . She is so missed already . The flowers at the service were gorgeous and so reflective of the beauty she loved and shared . Every guest at the visitation left with a pink or red rose 🌹. She has marked my life w her friendship and I am forever grateful grateful. by @jacquelineannkneller

Taking some time on this stormy weather day to BE STILL and so THANKFUL for the blessings of this Gigi life I am living . I got this thermal bottle when our first grandchild was on the way in 2020 . He arrived and something so beautiful opened up in my heart ❤️. I heard about how this happens when you have grandchildren, and it is true . The joy of watching your child have a child and the miracle of life unfolding again in a whole new dimension. When I got this tumbler with my new name GIGI on it x 5 I marveled at the idea of what it will be like when I have 5 grands …. And on Friday June 12 , # 5 was born 🥰… it is so amazing and beautiful. It never gets old to experience the miracle of new life . In a few short days, maybe hours , this cup will need another GIGI added to it when our #6 arrives 😍. My cup is full and running over with the goodness of God . I give Him all the glory because every good and perfect gift comes from Him ❤️ by @jacquelineannkneller

Family photo in the early 70s … The Hogans … the 7 of us . I don’t know why I wasn’t smiling. Maybe I was a moody preteen then. I do remember this day though and it was a cool fall morning and I don’t think I liked my outfit was the problem but anyway I love this picture. It captures all of us such a young age. My mom and dad are in their young 30s in this picture. I had no idea when I was younger that having five kids in six years and by the age of 22 was quite the intense accomplishment. Mom and dad were committed to our family to keep us together and helping us grow up while they were growing up also. They both had to work so hard, dad was out working sometimes two jobs to provide while we were younger and mom keeping things rolling at home. She always brought income in somehow she did ironing when they were first married for others. She sold Avon for many years and as we were all teenagers, she worked at a clothing store part time .
Mom was always on trend she did not have a big clothing budget for herself while raising us, but she was always on point she would sew her fashionable outfits if she had to and would make me some pretty awesome outfits also. I remember a lot of time by her side while she was sitting at the sewing machine, the old sewing machine that you would move the foot pedal to get the needle to move. Mom was very resourceful She created a beautiful home for us and always put hot meals on the table and make sure we sat down together to eat dinner. mom and dad were a good team a good balance of each other. I’m so thankful they had perseverance and commitment and determination to finish strong. I will have to share with you sometime soon how they met when they were 17. Destiny brought them together through an unfortunate accident. December 1 was the anniversary of mom‘s departure from here to heaven 8 years ago . We all miss her as we continue on w our lives and our family continues to grow . ❤️❤️ by @jacquelineannkneller

I was going through one of my mom’s purses She used that I had stored away and decided to get it out as I checked the pockets, here’s what I found, one of her appointment cards from her chiropractor, and a stack of my business cards 😊made me smile and made me remember how she was always my biggest fan from the very beginning, promoting me to others when I was too shy to promote myself not sure of my talent yet, this was a good Godwink for me today.❤️love and miss my mom always ! by @jacquelineannkneller

We leave to drive back home with our hearts full after 4 days at this beautiful retreat center nestled into Black Mountain and being with our @valorglobalonline tribe ! The students were ministered to and equipped, the parents encouraged and equipped, families strengthened, so many friendships made and excitement for our next retreat in August in Estes Park . There is nothing like this school . We were looking and praying for a different option than what we had for Charlie locally for Highschool .
We heard about this from another family when they were at a retreat like this 2 years ago when they posted about the rich experience they were having . We looked up @valorglobalonline right away and that is where our journey began . Charlie started that fall. You may be desiring a different option for your students and this could be it . Message me if you have questions . This could be the very thing your family needs and the answer you are looking for . God is faithful to lead us to what he has for us ❤️ by @jacquelineannkneller

Homemade maple marshmallows turned out great. They’re a little thin, but I will put them in a smaller container next time to make thicker ones. Looking forward to trying them in my coffee and hot cocoa ! by @jacquelineannkneller
