Tuna Curse and the James Second Day Trip Curse all broken. Great 2 days jigging bluefins aboard @marideecharters, went for 3 for 3 on some chunky little overs, 2 @49" and one 54" that was pushing triple digit. Our crew went 14 for 24 all on jigs over the 2 days, only killing 2 each day (could only manage a single under a day). #saltwaterfishing #jiggabeasts #tuna #jignpop #bluefintuna by @jad2192
Knocked off a bucket list fish 2 weeks back. Got my first ever yellowedge grouper and it was a stud, catching it on the jig made it all so sweeter. This 32 lb yellowedge grouper hit a 300g @johnnyjigs torpedo in 500'. Thanks to @capt.tannerison and @donovan_rincon for always putting us on crazy catches. We got the whole 30 hr trip on video too https://youtu.be/GTNiCNem2wA?is=jOUjnNvK97zR4XC5 #fishing #deepdrop #grouper #slowpitchjigging by @jad2192
Trip of A Lifetime!!!!!! 2 days later and my arms are still sore. A bunch of new species for me. Even I finally met A fish I’ll shy away from in the future (Amberjack)😂 . A lot of new Species for me this trip. Hand cracking these beast from the DEEP is nothing short of A wrestling match. @capt.tannerison took me and boys out and we went to work. I even caught A Kitty Mitchell!! @rich_from_jersey with A 65 pound Wahoo. This trip if it swam it was in the Kill box😂. No where to hide. Nothing that Accurate 300 can’t handle!!Shoutout to @jad2192 for putting this together can’t wait to do it again bro!! #gulf #saltlife #saltwaterfishing #fish #independenceday by @jad2192
Killer 18 hours offshore with the @hoodtoggers and @rich_from_jersey aboard @chasintides_oc . Started out getting our bluefin limit with 3 fat 45 lb class unders. Ventured to the tile grounds and got our blueline limit. Cherry on top was beating my Golden tile PB again with a monster 43 lber caught slow pitch jigging in 800 ft. #saltwaterfishing #deepdrop #tilefish #jiggabeasts by @jad2192

Biggest of 26' for me so far, 8.5 lb male fishing with Capt @ncayz19 of @chasintides_oc. Thank you Jonny Beard @ironj1993 for the video and color commentary 😄. (Fish was pocketbooked not snagged!) #fishing #tog #jiggabeasts by @jad2192

Well the fish gods were good to me in 2025. First trip out broke my PB tog with a 17.5 lber on the jig, ended the year with another 6 DDs. Broke my tuna curse of 2024 with a couple decent under bluefins before the closure. Also caught some crazy fish down south, 40 lb black grouper on my slow pitch rod (cheat jigging), first ever bone fish, and a stud african pompano on 20 lb fluoro. Here's to 2026. #fishing #saltwaterfishing #tautog #grouper #tuna by @jad2192
Ended my 2025 tog season with a nice 🐷 on a jig. Twelve pounds on the @mikesjigs 1 oz glow fishing aboard @talltailzcharters . She was nice and healthy and swam away strong. #tautog #fishing #saltwaterfishing by @jad2192
