The symmetry. The shapes. The attitude. 🖤

I’m a little obessed with this day. Currently finishing up edits before I’m back in St. Louis shooting next week and there is SO much goodness coming. Cannot wait. xx

Interested in your own editorial photoshoot? I’d love to work with you! DM me for details or visit the website. 🖤 by @jaimayhew

sometimes a look hits and you can see a hundred versions of it…
this could so easily translate into the most avant-garde maternity concept —
or a branding moment that stops people mid-scroll —
or even a wall-art statement that celebrates you as the art.

i love creating at this level — bold, beautiful, and unapologetically editorial —
and if you can picture yourself celebrated like this… we should talk.🖤

Couples.
One of my absolute favorite things to shoot.
The love, the story, the romance.
Every session is so completely unique.
Because every couple is so unique.

I have many, many favorites (IG needs more than 10 slides), here are just a few.

Thank you to every couple who’s let me be a part of moments like this. 🖤

A little throwback to one of my favorite couples shoots (ever), and quite possibly the most stolen photos I’ve ever taken. 🖤

We shot these for my first collection with @intuitionbackgrounds years ago, and somehow they ended up going viral.

Since then, I’ve found these photos in some pretty ridiculous places. They’ve appeared on countless unauthorized romance novel covers in a dozen different languages, including a few spicy ones that I specifically declined licensing for. They used them anyway. (And then TAGGED me. 😂 WTF.)

I’ve also found them on random websites, blown up across a giant nightclub window, and my personal favorite... someone actually Photoshopped their own faces onto Savanna and Marshall’s bodies to make the photos look like their own. A little devastated I can’t find that one anymore.

Years later, these are still some of my absolute favorites. 🖤

“I’m beautiful.”

I photographed Reagan years ago, and this is still one of those sessions I think about all the time.

At the time, she was struggling with her gorgeous red curls and freckles. She didn’t look like the other girls around her, and when you’re little, being different doesn’t always feel like a good thing.

So we made it art. The hair. The freckles. Everything that made Reagan uniquely and beautifully herself.

Afterward, her mom sent me a screenshot that I’ll forever cherish. Reagan had seen one of the photos, asked if she could “like” it herself, and then decided she wanted to leave a comment:
“I’m beautiful.”

All these years later, that little comment (which is anything but little) is my favorite thing that came from this shoot. Because sometimes a photo gets to be so much more than just a pretty picture. 🤍 by @jaimayhew

My final photography workshop of 2026 is coming up, and we have just TWO spots remaining! 🤍

November 16th in St. Louis - a full day of shooting, learning, creating, and diving into everything I love about editorial portrait photography.

Whether you’re looking to refine your posing and lighting, elevate your portfolio, or simply spend a day creating alongside other photographers, I’d love to have you!

DM me to grab one of the final spots!
Can’t wait to see you there! xx by @jaimayhew

One of my favorite things to photograph will probably always be something a little unexpected. 🤍 Captured during a private mentoring session in St. Louis, with a corset I made and an idea I couldn’t wait to bring to life!

Watching the whole look come together, from something in my head to something I can photograph, will never get old. Neither will teaching, sharing what I’ve learned, and watching other photographers push themselves and grow their craft.

DM me for workshop or private mentoring details. 🖤 by @jaimayhew

Still one of my absolute favorite shoots. 🤍

I photographed these two a few years ago, and I swear they get more special to me with time.

There’s something about photographing mothers with their daughters that hits differently when you look back a few years later. They change so ridiculously fast. I’m actually planning a shoot with my own daughter next month for exactly that reason. Sometimes I really wish we could hit pause.

So, a little reminder to get in the photos with them. Not just of them. 🤍 (And selfishly, I’d love to photograph more of this! xx) by @jaimayhew

an art gallery moment absolutely dripping in Whitney vibes✨ can we talk about these editorial photoshoots though?? 🔥
