National championship 🇬🇧 @justpadelderby
This week me and @bertieg_padel played at the nationals in both u12 and u14 although we didn’t get the result we were hunting for we had a great time

In the u12s me and Bertie lost in a set tiebreak that went to 11-9 😮 it was a great battle

In the u14 me and Bertie lost our first match and couldn’t overcome our second either

Thanks for playing @bertieg_padel
Until next year …

🇬🇧 WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! 🇬🇧

A very special day for Jake, myself and Jen, watching Jake take part in his first Great Britain U12 training camp at the incredible LTA National Tennis Centre in Roehampton — the home of British tennis and one of the country’s elite high-performance training facilities. 🎾🇬🇧

It was brilliant to see Jake catching up with so many of his friends — players he competes with and against throughout the year — all coming together as part of the future of Team GB.

As parents, myself and Jennie were incredibly proud just to be there supporting him and watching another exciting step in his padel journey. ❤️

And there was a little bonus to an already amazing day… getting to meet the lovely Emma Raducanu! She was absolutely brilliant, so friendly and happy to stop for a quick photo — a true professional and a fantastic role model. 🙌🇬🇧

It really topped off a great day!

And there’s no slowing down…

🇳🇱 A huge weekend just gone competing at the FIP Promises tournament in the Netherlands

🇬🇧 First GB U12 training camp at Roehampton

🏆 And now straight into the LTA Junior Padel National Championships in Derby this Thursday and Friday!

What a few days and what an experience for Jake.

Keep enjoying it, keep learning and keep working hard.

VAMOS JAKE! 🎾🔥🇬🇧

This weekend I played in the FIP promises in the Netherlands it was a great event with great organisation and I was so happy throughout this event and I am very grateful to share the court with you @lennert.strackx_padel in the u12 where we unfortunately lost our semifinal to the world number 1 but it was a great experience and an amazing first tournament with Lennert

In the u14 I was very excited to say I was playing with @jude.j_padel it was an amazing level in our first round and we couldn’t quite get the win but it was a great match and very good tournament with Jude overall

🎀 JAKE SIMPSON SUPPORTS WEAR IT PINK 🎀
This Saturday, Jake will be proudly supporting Breast Cancer Now’s Wear It Pink campaign at his home club, KTSCC Kenilworth. 💗
Jake is currently LTA U12 GB No.2 and Warwickshire’s No.1 ranked junior padel player, and he’ll be getting on court to play some good-level padel while supporting a cause that means so much to so many people.
And, of course, he’ll be wearing his trademark PINK SOCKS! 🩷🎾
KTSCC is bringing the club together for a fantastic charity day on Saturday 10 October, with different sports running fun tournaments, followed by tea and cake, plus a raffle with some brilliant prizes.
The aim is simple: raise as much as possible for Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s leading breast cancer charity.
Breast Cancer Now funds world-class research, provides vital support to people affected by breast cancer and campaigns for better awareness, earlier diagnosis and improved access to treatment. Their vision is that, by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live — and live well.
If you’re coming to KTSCC, please get involved, play, support the raffle and enjoy the day. 🙌
And if you can’t make it, even a small donation would be hugely appreciated.
