POSTS STORIES REELS

I thought that September was hard, but October brought me a whole load of new challenges.

But it wasn’t all bad. At the beginning of the month I went on a mental health short walk that ended up being 8 miles long 😂

And also had some lovely work lunchtime walks too.

Storms came and went, leaving their mark on the beach.

And when I needed more hands to hold my burdens, my friends came to the rescue.

Thanks @sarah_buddery and @laurenevelyn91 ♥️

I decided to start appreciating my surroundings more.

After all, I am living here now.

I used the words “sounds gay, I’m in” and had a hilarious night out with @dunkiecan.

And I got invited to hand out awards at the UK Social Media awards, which was such an honour.

Getting to open a golden envelope and say “and the winner is” was I C O N I C!

Seeing lovely people will always bring me joy.

I had the best day with @rjopson06, @sarahjmihai and @iamsamasaurusrex (Sam not pictured because I have too many chins in that selfie 😂).

I continued to train for my Hyrxox. They continue to make me feel like I’ll die.

Best of all, I kept plastering a smile on my face.

Autumn arrived at work…

But Christmas arrived at the Ivy.

So while the sun may have set on another very challenging month, I need to remember to focus on what I have, not what I’ve lost.

Here’s to November, to literally darker days (thanks winter) and my last month as a 35 year old. by @jake_potter4

🎶 I declare and I decree
Any chain that has been holding me
Any evil tongue that whispers in these ears
I said, I rebuke you, you must leave my life
You are not welcome here 🎶

September turned out to be another month of ups and downs.

But at least I got my eyebrows done.

I went to see the Frida Kahlo exhibition at @tate.

Loved it so much I went again with @sarahjmihai a few weeks later.

Continued to train for my Hyrox - they kill me but I love them.

I watched the sunrise at the beach.

It’s the little things that bring joy.

I woke up one day feeling hopeful.

It ended up being one of the worst days of my life.

I went to Mallorca and it was one of my best holidays ever.

I ate some yummy paella by the sea.

And I was reminded why my mum is one of the best people on this planet.

Not that I needed reminding. She’s always been fantastic.

I saw the lovely @carlybristow and @rich_ashby_ get married, it was a beautiful day ♥️

And was once again reminded how awesome my friends are.

Then a rainbow reminded me there’s hope.

🎶Though I may cry in the night, but my joy comes in the morning

I declare there will be joy 🎶 by @jake_potter4

The most healing holiday I’ve ever been on.

Some might call it a healiday.

My mum knew I needed a holiday 99 days before I realised it.

So she took me to Mallorca for some much needed rest and relaxation.

We had the best time eating dinner by the sea.

I also ate some chips that changed my life.

The sun sets were beautiful.

As were the beaches!

We took a 100 year old train.

And I loved it.

It’s been 10 years since I last went to Soller, it was as beautiful as I remember.

And I did fall in love with the tram.

I spent some time relaxing in the sun.

And if I could, I’d do it all over again.

It’s true what they say, mothers do know best.

Thanks mum. by @jake_potter4

The beautiful Soller - brought to you by the 1912 tram and train!

July happened.

I spent a lot of time on my own.

Went to one of the most iconic gigs ever.

Gathered my thoughts at the beach.

Went to work and took a pretty picture.

Connected with a lot of friends.

And realised I still knew how to smile.

Had the opportunity to see @williamhanson in @titaniquemusicaluk just before his run ended.

Saw a Banksy.

But I also saw this! by @jake_potter4

Ready to see Placebo and Garbage! by @jake_potter4

Chasing away the Sunday scaries with a smile on my face 🙂

Thank you to everyone for your support on my videos this month. It’s a radical shift in my Instagram content but I’d thought I’d try something new. So if you’ve commented, liked or messaged me, THANK YOU. by @jake_potter4

Because everyone is doing that 2016 trend I decided to do it too. At least I’m honest 😂

This was the year I moved in with @hexshadow, went to Croatia for the first time and started marathon training.

Apparently I loved standing up with my hands in the air! I also had the best time with @sarah_buddery at @disneylandparis. by @jake_potter4

Welcome back to another round of me pretending to be an influencer.

We had lots of fun last week seeing @ohmaryplayuk! The show was fab, the acting was brilliant and we laughed so so much.

We got very wet in the rain but it didn’t dampen our spirits! by @jake_potter4

Challenging the stereotype that January is depressing by pretending to be your favourite influencer 😜

We’re just a few days into the new year and it’s already been quite fun. From seeing @hbypantos Beauty and the Beast at @charingcrossthr with @hexshadow to a lovely walk with @lady.susi, it’s been super fun!

Also spending a lot of time at @afclaphamjunction like a always am 😜

Happy new year! by @jake_potter4
