Meet the Nissalke Team - Jake, Cindy, and Ashe! 💜✨ Jake Nissalke participated in his first chalk event 12 years ago right here at The Gateway. He has always had a love for art and has developed his own unique style of layering colors and values to bring his art to life. Jake is currently a tattoo artist at Giant Robot in Salt Lake City. 🎨 Cindy Nissalke’s first experience with chalk art was at this festival in 2014, and it has remained a favorite ever since. It holds a special place in her heart as her family has grown through adoption, combining two of her favorite things - family and art. 💕 Ashe Bentley has been chalking for a couple of years and picked it up quickly. They also enjoy working with pens, watercolor, and digital media. Ashe has a whimsical style using vibrant colors that lends itself well to large-scale chalk creations. 🌈 For the Nissalke Team, some of the best memories are made with family and a little bit of chalk dust. 🥰 Bring yours this weekend and make a few colorful memories of your own! #chalkart #utahartist #streetart #utahevents #publicart by @jakenissart
