The world lost a great man and my best friend yesterday. Dad, the most simple way to put it is thanks for the man that you were. Thanks for being a great teacher, a great businessman, a great husband to mom, a great father and most importantly, a man who had an incredibly strong faith. You had many great accomplishments in life dad, but what I’m most proud of is the fact that you never missed a church service on Sundays, never skipped a devotional, always had trust in God through the good and bad times and always made sure to get on Luke and I when we would work on Sundays. You taught me how to be a man of faith, and nothing else really matters in this life. Although I’ll never fully get over losing you, I’m glad that I can find peace in knowing that you’re up there in Heaven with no more suffering. You always said you wanted to be the landscaper of the pearly gates. I’m sure that will be your best design yet. Hopefully you can find some solid help for the install.

We are going to make you proud in the way that we live our lives and in how we continue your legacy through running your businesses and upholding your last name. Although I feel like our time together was cut short and I still had a lot more to learn from you, I want to thank you for everything you taught me. I’ll miss the “I told you so” moments when I tried to do something my way and it didn’t work out the way I wanted and you’d hit me with the classic “I’ve been doing this for 40 years bro.” I’ll miss being able to call you when I’m confused on a job and need your help. I’ll miss you telling us to make sure to always thank God for all of the work we have been blessed with and to never take it for granted and I’ll miss you reassuring us that God will always provide in times of doubt if we just continue to pray and honor him. I’ll miss all of your stupid jokes and the great sense of humor that you had.

I’ll remember every piece of advice that you gave me and all of the lessons that you taught me. You were more than a father to me. You were my role model, my hero, my best friend and the best boss and teacher that I could ever ask for. Your legacy will live on forever bro. I love you. by @jakespegal5

Transforming outdoor spaces is what we do. Patio, walkways, lighting, steps, plantings and more raised the curb appeal for this property in Plain City in unimaginable ways. Our team absolutely crushed this one 🔥 by @jakespegal5
