Halfway through placement year by @jalexander_05
25 szn - 1:53.68 and 51.09 ๐Ÿ”ฅ So happy with my 800 and 4x4 at BUCS. Exeter BMC win and PB was the highlight ๐Ÿ… Had some solid performances in Southern and National League ๐Ÿ”ฐ Kept the season strong through starting placement mid-season 5:54 in the 1500 was a low point though ๐Ÿ˜ฌ by @jalexander_05
Year 2 in BA2 ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’› by @jalexander_05
4 races in 3 days was pretty tough but it meant everything to get to the semis of the 800 as well as the 4x400 final. Taking 0.05 seconds off my 800 pb was nice as well ๐Ÿ˜‰ Huge thanks to everyone for all the support over the weekend and over the winter (Bath is massive) ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ”ฐ Great to meet some new faces as well Plus thanks to @charlie.powell04 @joshmaggs._ @lizzy.ingram for the photos (and @bxsil for the elite commentary) by @jalexander_05
Maybe not the result I was hoping for at varsity but that was my favourite 800m race ever - that post-race smile says it all. Nice to get a PB in the long jump too, as well as the Team win ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™ by @jalexander_05
BUCS Indoors Debut ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’› Glad to turn a few Winter setbacks into good results Nice to see some amazing team results Thanks to @joshmaggs._ and @mattmule_ and @gtrunner_ for photos and videos ๐Ÿ’ช @uobathathletics @chelmsford_ac @runnerhlh by @jalexander_05
2024 Track Seasonโœ… Will always be a special season to me, finally achieving sub-2 in the 800m and breaking 60 in the 400H. Thanks to everyone who supported me on and off the track, I couldnโ€™t have done it without you all ๐Ÿซถ Race of the season: BUCS 400H Heat - I just wanted to take part in BUCS but I completely surpassed my expectations and took 8 seconds off my PB. Blackheath and Bromley Open was up there too, running my seasonโ€™s goal of 1:55.11 and followed my race plan almost perfectly Progress: 800M - 2:01.70 to 1:55.11 400H - 67.71 to 58.54 400m - 54.02 to 52.23 Happy but never quite satisfied, thereโ€™s a lot of work to do for next year ๐Ÿ’ช by @jalexander_05
BUCS Outdoors 2024 Manchester ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’› Had an amazing first-year experience with an 8 second PB in the 400 Hurdles (59.39) and helped the 4x400 team secure a place in the final. So much hard work goes into getting on the start line in optimal shape, and emotions run high but itโ€™s so rewarding when the results come through. Huge thanks to my teammates and coaches from Bath, Chelmsford and friends from other university teams (mostly Loughborough ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ˜‚)supporting me through the highs and lows of the weekend. Also huge thanks to @joshmaggs._ and @charlie.powell04 and @gtrunner_ for taking photos for the team alongside competing ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’› . . @chelmsford_ac @bathuniathletics @runnerhlh by @jalexander_05
Huge start to a big track season with a double PB race week ๐Ÿคฉ big consistent winter and Warm Weather Training paying off nicely. Looking forward to hitting some 800s (and other events) soon after running a 52.79 400m and 4:14 1500m to open up the summer with my uni track mates ๐Ÿ”ฐ๐Ÿ™Œ @runnerhlh @chelmsford_ac by @jalexander_05
23/24 XC Season complete, calves bigger than ever ๐Ÿ’ช Went from 2nd last at Cardiff Cross Challenge to my first BUCS and Essex call-up, really happy with that. Ready to chase some PBs on the track ๐Ÿคž Thanks to everyone who supported me, the best training groups in the world โค๏ธ by @jalexander_05
