So stoked to finally be able to share my rebrand and new website. Itā€™s a collection of work from the past few years, bringing together photography from projects across travel, architecture and lifestyle for brands, publications and creative agencies around the world. Iā€™m also really excited to launch my new Print Store, with three collections of photographs Iā€™ve made over years of travelling. These are images that have stayed with me long after the jobs were finished, and Iā€™m looking forward to sharing them as prints. A big thank you to @selftitled_design for taking the time to really understand who I am and what I wanted this next chapter to feel like. They created a brand and website that feels completely true to my work, and seeing everything come together has given me a fresh sense of inspiration. If youā€™d like to have a look, the website and print collections are now live via the link in my bio. #jamesgeerphotography #printstore #newwebsite by @jamesgeer
A new brand and website for @jamesgeer. For over 25 years, Melbourne-based photographer James Geer has been shooting for leading brands and publications all over the world. His work spans lifestyle, interiors and portraiture, with an emphasis on storytelling and a strong connection to people and place. With industry trends shifting towards large quantities of mass-produced content, James sought to elevate his brand and website to reinforce his expertise and commitment to producing authentic, beautifully crafted imagery. Anyone that has worked with James knows that the value he brings extends beyond his evocative imagery. With decades of experience, James provides an unparalleled ability to problem solve and think on his feet, and his relaxed and genuine approach ensure that both the process and outcomes are enjoyable and rewarding. This combination of factors led to our Self-truthĀ®, ā€˜Always movingā€™. The visual identity is simple and bold, a simple blinking shutter motif invites the viewer to ā€˜see through the lensā€™ of James Geer. Jamesā€™ new website presents his work in curated case studies, with written anecdotes adding behind-the-scenes context and insights. On the homepage and menu, the shutter motif provides glimpses of projects at a glance, guiding users to relevant work. Typeface by @klim_type_foundry Full case study on website now. The Fiat 500 convertible, also known as the "Spiaggina". A @passalacquahotel icon. by @jamesgeer
Iā€™m not that into cars, but if itā€™s made of timber and floats, it has my attention. This series has been brewing in my imagination since I first layed eyes on a Riva, age 12. A month in the planning and one of my favourite shoots in a long while. Special thanks to Capitano Filippo & @comoclassicboats by @jamesgeer
