🗣️“just put a sticker on it!” 🗣️ “can’t you just have them print on your cups?” 🗣️ “why are you giving yourself a hard time?”

since i started jamie’s matcha, i’ve always tried to add a personal touch to every cup we prepare.

i whisper good intentions while whisking each drink (things like “i hope this person has a good day today”), include personalized typewritten notes, and even pick flowers from our home’s arrangement before they wilted.

over time, i had to let some of those rituals go to prioritize efficiency and speed. but apart from whispering good intentions, one thing i hope i never have to give up is drawing on every single cup. 🌸

i’m so happy (and very lucky) that my mother-in-law enjoys it just as much as i do and that she’s willing to sit with me for hours just drawing on cups together. 🥺💖

PS: we’ll be at estancia from aug 7-9 for @themodernmarket.ph’s coffee & matcha collective! see you there? 🫶🏻 by @jamiesmatcha

Matcharista Era 🍵✨

Late post but I tried making matcha last weekend lol. It’s my first side quest reel with a voice over so let’s pretend that I don’t sound sick, okay? 😆 Anyway, thanks for having me @jamiesmatcha. 🙌
