POSTS STORIES REELS

Hi, I thought it was time to introduce myself again. Some of you have been here for a while, others might be new - either way, I’m honestly so grateful for every single one.

Photography started for me many years ago when I kept stealing my dad’s camera. What began as a simple hobby slowly grew with me, until it naturally became what I focus on today: wedding photography. Back then, I had no idea it would become such a meaningful part of my life. It has taken me to some of the most wonderful places - in Germany and across Europe - and to people and stories I would have never met otherwise.

For me it’s all about noticing the small in-between moments, holding on to emotions and memories, and capturing them in a way that feels honest and lasting.
Being invited into such an important day of my couples’ lives will never feel normal. It’s a trust I’m thankful for, and I’m right there with you - laughing, crying, feeling everything alongside you.

Along the way, photography also brought so many wonderful and creative people into my life - through workshops, shoots or simply coffee dates that turned into real connections. When I’m not working, I’m probably with friends or clearing my mind doing sports. And yes, I’m a chronic overthinker, rewriting this paragraph about a hundred times.

Speak soon, Jana <3

Special thanks to @studiohillow for creating my new visual language and @oanasphoto for capturing me in front of the camera🫰🏼✨ by @janawiessmann.photography
