POSTS STORIES REELS

My workouts aren’t always polished or picture-perfect. I don’t always wear a matching set, and my hair is rarely done. I don’t follow a strict program, and I’m often rushing between clients with a million other things on my to-do list. But what matters is that my workouts are efficient, effective, and make me feel strong—and yes, even happy—afterward. I listen to my body and focus on what I need in the moment, and that’s what truly matters. It’s about getting it done, no matter how it looks. 💪 #RealLifeFitness #EfficiencyOverPerfection #ListenToYourBody by @janeetraining

I know I’m out of shape but that left my legs feeling a little noodly by @janeetraining

I’m a washed-up powerlifter. I used to be really strong, but I no longer have 10 hours a week to train, so my workout style has changed dramatically. Every once in a while, though, I get the itch to squat, bench, or deadlift. Here’s what my workouts look like when I do.

I’m no longer chasing a one-rep max, and I don’t have time to wait 5 minutes between working sets. Now I add in auxiliary exercises between them. Sometimes it’s core work to save my arms, and sometimes (like today) it’s more upper-body work to fatigue them even more.

I tend to stick to simple exercises because that’s what I like. But there’s so much room for flexibility here—that’s what I love about this style of training. I can choose every exercise to fit how I’m feeling physically and mentally each day.

The workout:

Bench 10
bicep curls 20
reverse flys 10
reverse decline tucks 10
X4

bent over barbell row 10
elevated single leg pushups 10/10
tricep dips 15
X3

It’s been awhile!

But here’s a quick little burner.

Start with a core circuit

Palof Press 10/10
V-Sit flutter kicks 20

*the palof press can also be done with bands instead of the cable machine*

Second circuit

Bosu single leg RDL 10/10
Russian twist 30
Sumo dumbbell deadlift 20

Nothing fancy but you will be sore the day after!

My biggest flaw as a trainer is that I hate counting and I’m really bad at it. I get distracted thinking about exercises or chatting with clients. So I love to do timed workouts. Plus I know exactly how long it will take.

I had about 23 minutes to squeeze in a workout before my client was going to be at the gym. So I decided to do this upper body circuit.

10 exercises. 20 minutes.

Can you tell I wasn’t planning on working out today?

Decided instead of walking for 40 minutes on the treadmill I’d split it up. So I did 20 minutes upper body strength and 20 minute incline walking!

Definitely got my sweaty!!🥵 by @janeetraining

The most hydrating & refreshing summer drink — but dairy-free! 🥥🍉

I’ve been seeing versions of this all over social media with Greek yogurt, but I swapped in So Delicious Coco Whip instead — super creamy with a tropical twist 🌴

✨Ingredients (no rules, just vibes):
• Watermelon
• Celtic sea salt (minerals 💪)
• Local honey (hello allergy relief!)
• Coco whip

Pour over ice & sip on sunshine 🌞
