Trust me now, thank me later, and enjoy the healthy-leaning drink of the summer (this was our 2nd batch 😋):

🥬 Green juice (use @sujaorganic or @pressedjuicery and not the one in the video)
🥃 Tequila (nothing fancy — you won’t taste it)
💐 Elderflower Syrup (@belvoirfarm_usa is best)
🍋 Fresh lemon juice
🍊 Garnish with dried oranges
🧊 Pour over ice

Eyeball it. I have no measurements. And feel free to recommend a name! The Secret Garden? Garden Party? The Green Room? by @janinesharell

How we rolled to college for the 4th and final time. There’s no better duet partner, and no better daughter. @imjulesviolet you center me, make me laugh, and fill my life with so much joy and sunshine. Happy senior year, my love! I’m so proud of you and beyond excited for all that’s to come! 🌟 by @janinesharell

Ummm… did my dad just step out of a Ralph Lauren catalog? Look at him crushing it on his birthday! 🎂

Happy Birthday to the man who started it all. So grateful we could all gather to toast to him, all he’s done, and all he means to us! 🧡 (orange heart because it’s his favorite color and Frank Sinatra’s) by @janinesharell

Gifted partnership with @lookopticusa
I always wanted to be just like my mother. In so many ways, I still do. 💕

She was beautiful, strong, so very stylish, the kind of woman whose influence stays with you long after she’s gone.

My mother had breast cancer. And although she preferred to keep that part of her life private, it’s a part of our family’s story and always will be.

I lost her years ago, but I still find myself reaching for little pieces of her every day. In the way I dress, the things I say, the food I cook, the groceries I buy, my mannerisms…

So when I had the opportunity to partner with @lookoptic for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this one felt especially personal.

Through December, LOOK OPTIC is donating 10% of proceeds from its shiny pink eyewear collection to the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, supporting research that brings us closer to a future with better outcomes for women and families facing breast cancer.

I wish my mother were here to see this. I think she would have loved the glasses. Seriously, so much cuter than the cheaters she had that she would perch on her nose. 😉

If this story speaks to you, please share it with someone you love. And if you’d like to support the cause, visit the link in my bio for a LOOK OPTIC discount and to explore the collection.

Here’s to the women who shaped us, the women we miss, and the women we can still help.

This angel baby plopped into my life 23-years ago today, and it’s been sunshine and rainbows ever since. I am the luckiest mom in the world to have her for a daughter. Happiest Birthday wishes to my love, my heart, my sweet @imjulesviolet 🩷 by @janinesharell

Happy Birthday @brendan.barlow — you are the sonshine of my life! 🌞 🎂 🥳 🎈 by @janinesharell

It’s Father’s Day and he wanted to meet for breakfast. He picked the restaurant. Uncle Bernie’s, the restaurant formerly known as Fromin’s. We practically lived there when I was younger. Our orders were the same as they’ve always been — our own versions of scrambled eggs, sliced tomatoes, and a bagel with cream cheese on the side. One brother is out of town, the other lives too far away, so I had him to myself today. While I love a big family gathering, I also cherish the one-on-one time, the conversation, the stories. I am very grateful for the life he gave me and for the time we still get to share together. Happy Father’s Day to my dad and all the others who work so hard to give their families a great life. ❤️ by @janinesharell
