If someone cheats on their spouse is that love? So how much greater is the disservice if we do that to our Savior? Repent. #love #jesus #repent #break #selfish by @jaredbarnes
Reading from 1 John. The bible is just so good! Walk as He walked. He kept the commandments. He's your example. Did he eat bacon and work on the Sabbath? Did He do His will or the will of His father? Deny yourself , submit to Him and make Him the Lord of your life. Surrender. Repent. Obey. #obey #love #bible #submit #repent by @jaredbarnes
James 1:25 But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man will be blessed in what he does. Psalm 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. John 15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. 1 John 2 3 By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; 5 but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: 6 the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked. Matthew 5 17 ⭐“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18 ⭐For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not [a]the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 ⭐Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches [b]others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever [c]keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 “For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. #jesus #christian #christ #torah #obedience by @jaredbarnes

Hebrews 12 5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons, “My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, Nor faint when you are reproved by Him; 6 For those whom the Lord loves He disciplines, And He scourges every son whom He receives.” 7 It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline? 8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.  #sons #deciples #endurance #refinement #love by @jaredbarnes
Paul has so many bars. Romans 8:9-11 9 However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. 10 If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. #law #torah #bible #romans #readyourbible by @jaredbarnes
