Started as a short film… now it’s becoming something even bigger. 🎬

“The Check In” was created to start conversations that too many people avoid having. What began as a senior project is now inspiring a full movie focused on men’s mental health, brotherhood, pressure, and healing.

This is only the beginning.
Stay tuned… November 2027. 🎥 #TheCheckIn #MensMentalHealth #comingsoon by @jarius_king

To the Powerhouse of the South,
To the ones who shaped me into who I am today,

I’ll carry y’all with me forever.

From a rookie to leading this band as band president, and section leader, every step of this journey has meant everything to me. I gave this program my time, my energy, my leadership, and my heart. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. You have blessed me with so many memories and opportunities and I am excited to see y’all continue to be great and exceed with excellence. Shoutout to everybody who believed in me, pushed me, and held me accountable. Thank you for trusting me to lead. I won’t stop…. I won’t quit… because my purpose depends on it.

P.O.T.S… For Life 💙🧡
