Some stories deserve more than a headline. 🎙️

I’m competing in iHeartRadio’s Top Host competition with On Air with Ryan Seacrest for a chance to create a 6-episode podcast.

My career has been in health care and social services, including years inside California’s prison health care system. I want to tell the whole story behind the crime, from every side, with respect.

Still on Cloud 9 @nulyp I thank God because this is more so him and his work than it is, I.

I thank the National Urban League for doing God’s work to empower and advance the people.

Thank you to President Tyler Litt and the Team for the extraordinary work you are doing leading the young professionals.

I thank My Mom, since birth remains my biggest supporter. I love you ❤️Congratulations to my fellow trailblazers and the amazing work. Thank you to my job for continuing to choose me and the opportunity to showcase my talents. by @jaronnash__

The Government Alliance on Race and Equity, Formerly referred to as GARE was the first committee I was appointed to serve. GARE works tirelessly to address institutional and structural discrimination by advancing race and gender equity in our system. I was honored to join a team of highly motivated individuals push to transform dated norms and beliefs with modern and forward thinking initiatives. I am a product of people advocating on my behalf for a seat at the table. I’m privileged to be apart of a committee that pays this same advocation forward while promoting diversity and inclusion. Thank you for the award. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to serve#Congratulations #MedalofValor Editing Credits: @xdk__ by @jaronnash__

🔊PSA: If you ever get the chance to attend your high school reunion, GO.

A time was had. It felt rare, like it was 20 years in the making.

It was good to be back at my starting point, under the Friday night lights with the people who knew me when I was Jay from Sebring, and way before the glow up.

Twenty years of growing up, and the school spirit was still there.

Good was never the goal. 🏆

Proud to bring home Avenal Health Care’s first-ever award, the Innovators by Design Award from the Workforce Investment Board of Tulare County.

A special thank you to our Chief Quality and Patient Safety Officer. I’m blessed to work alongside a team that shows up every day and exceeds community standards of care.

When I first arrived at Avenal, I overheard someone say, “ASP Health Care’s problem is they think they’re great when they’re only good.”

It was meant for me to hear, and I took it as an assignment and used it as my personal mission statement.

I was determined that we were not going to reach for the stars and settle for good. We were going to reach for perfection and land on greatness.

An ode to my team: I am blessed to lead and work alongside you. So much of what you do goes unseen, and quality output can feel unappreciated at times. People will try to label us: “only good,” “just a basic institution.” But labels don’t define greatness. You do. May this recognition serve as a reminder of who you are.

Every day you show up, the needle moves and our community improves. Your work may not always be valued the way it should be, but I see you. I hear you. And my hope is that, after these nearly 8 years, you feel the greatness that you are.

“Health care is health care, wherever it’s delivered. Our patients deserve great care, and our communities deserve great jobs.”

I am fortunate that we offer both at ASP. Thank you @tularewib for the honor #winningteam #blessed by @jaronnash__

A career high, and it’s dedicated to my team.

Filled with gratitude and excitement to share that Avenal State Prison has been selected for a 2026 INNOVATORS by Design Award by the Workforce Investment Board of Tulare County.

Every day, 380+ nursing, dental, mental health, pharmacy, administrative, and custody professionals show up with skill and heart for patients many people never see.

Thank you to the @tularewib and our Tulare-Kings County workforce partners for seeing this work, valuing it, and recognizing it. Tomorrow, we celebrate 🙌🏽👏🏽🎉

I’m running for Top Host 🎙️

iHeartRadio and On Air with Ryan Seacrest are searching for the next great podcast host. The winner gets a 6-episode podcast produced by iHeartRadio, $25,000, and a guest appearance on an episode of On Air with Ryan Seacrest.

Why my podcast is different: Every crime has a before and an after that the headlines miss. I’ve spent years working inside the justice system, and I’m ready to tell the whole story. I’ll go before the crime and beyond the sentence to uncover the why, the warning signs, and what real rehabilitation looks like. It will be told from every side: those who were harmed, those who caused harm, and the families on both sides.

Here’s how you can help:
