another rock solid year of chasing light, kicking tires, crispy downshifts, steady points, near misses, errant tee shots, birdie putts, erratic casts, early mornings and late nights collaborating with talented creatives i’m lucky to call friends, and time well spent with the people that mean the most. above all else, i get to do it all over again next year 🫡 big giant thank you to my peeps. still no hole-in-one’s, gonna have to work on that 🎯🫶 (and somehow no cameras were harmed despite trying my hardest 🤠) also go Knicks by @jashshotthis
made the first turns of the season this past weekend in Banff while attending the Canadian premiere for LINES at @banffmountainfestival - LINES will also be included on the Banff World Tour ✌️ while in Banff this past weekend i found out that not only was LINES nominated for Best Cinematography at @freeridefilmfestival - i took home the award for Best Director ✨ i got my start in filmmaking because i wanted to make ski films as a kid the moment i watched a Warren Miller film. many ski seasons later getting to direct a film that makes a small contribution to the culture and getting recognized for that, is second only to getting chest-deep after a storm. some of my favorite frames from some of my favorite cinematographers i’ve had the pleasure of working with. 🫶 ya’ll - thank you for dedicating the time, energy, and bringing the ruckus on this one. screenings coming up in Seattle (this weekend!), Truckee, and NYC. link in my bio for tix - hope to see ya’ll in Seattle & NYC 👊 Made with support from @4frnt_skis @hyperlite_mountain_gear @fattire @strafeouterwear Director - @jashshotthis Writer - @galacticbrown Executive Producers - @jashshotthis @galacticbrown @sofia_jaramillo5 Producers - @bennordal @myshiftkeyisbroke Cinematography - @benericson @hazenfilms @jakeburchmore @mkoziel @nicholascahill @nkosiroma Addtl.
