🌞Happy is the new rich
📍Nelson, New Zealand 🇳🇿
POSTS STORIES REELS
A few weeks ago, I had the honour of photographing my brother and his new beautiful fiancée, Saff. Firstly, congratulations to you both. Witnessing the beginning of this next chapter together feels incredibly special. Saff, we’re so lucky to have you in our family, and I’m so happy you’ve found each other. My brother has always been a romantic, and I couldn’t imagine a better match for him. ❤️ It felt so good to pick up my camera with intention again. Life has been a little chaotic lately, and somewhere along the way photography quietly slipped into the background. Spending time planning, shooting and editing these images reminded me how much I love the entire process. I love searching for beautiful light. I love the conversations in between photographs. And I love sitting down afterwards and shaping those moments into something that feels like art. Photography has always been the art form I’ve felt most connected to. What I love most is capturing moments that feel real. The laughter between the set up, the quiet glances, the details that might otherwise be forgotten. There is something special about preserving a season of life and creating images that feel nostalgic enough to return to years later. Putting this collection together has made me wonder if I’d like to do more of this. If you’re in Nelson and have a story, a season, or a chapter you’d like remembered, I’d love to create something with you. ✨ by @jasminn_paps
Rwanda has many stories to tell, and Akagera National Park is one that surprised us. In the east of the country, the landscape opens into savannah, lakes, wetlands, and wide horizons that feel far removed from the misty forests Rwanda is best known for. This is where we see a real opportunity to take our guests to experience a different side of the country, travelling and staying with @wearewilderness. Set on a private stretch of land beside Lake Rwanyakazinga and open plains, it offers space, calm, and a genuine sense of immersion. Akagera is quiet, uncrowded, and beautifully balanced. It’s a place to slow down, explore thoughtfully, and discover a Rwanda few travellers ever expect. Had the most amazing time celebrating the Comans 🤍@izziecoman @twcoman Happy Valentine’s Day my love @kesh_quinn I adore you ❤️ by @jasminn_paps
Seeing the gorillas in Rwanda is unlike anything else we do in Africa. It’s quiet, deliberate, and deeply serene. Hours of walking through misty forest, slowing your breath, until suddenly you’re sharing space with them. There’s no rush, no noise, just a powerful sense of presence that stays with you long after you leave. We sent Jas to Rwanda to explore what future journeys here could look like, and these images from her experience last November, say it all. Would you like Rwanda to be part of your next adventure? 📷 @jasminn_paps Rwanda travel | Gorilla trekking | Luxury African safaris | Wildlife encounters | Thoughtful travel by @jasminn_paps
There’s a place I return to, time and time again where icy spring water steals my breath, and moss-covered stones remember every step. Tree ferns reach toward the light, and the air hums with native birdsong. Since childhood, we’ve come here to leap, to laugh, to begin again. Here, I feel weightless, like a fluttering fairy among the green, held by a forest that heals and whispers, welcome home. A little poem by me for a very special place ✨ Put my heart into editing these photos, I hope you enjoy them 💛 #moodylandscapeNZ #NZlandscapephotography #southislandnz #purenewzealand #explorenz #nelsonnz #discovernz by @jasminn_paps

You can’t visit Anatori without jumping on a quad and tearing along the beach – it’s a classic NZ experience 🌊 #Anatori #NelsonNZ #ExploreNZ #NZNature #NZBeaches #AdventureNZ #QuadBikes #NaturePhotography #LandscapePhotography #NZPhotographer #BeachVibes #PureNewZealand #RuralNZ by @jasminn_paps
Explored one of my favourite corners of Nelson recently – Anatori. Rugged coastline, rolling farmland, and the kind of wild beauty that feels untouched. Loved showing Kesh this side of rural New Zealand 🌿📸 #NZNature #NelsonNZ #NaturePhotography #LandscapePhotography #ExploreNZ #PureNewZealand #RuralNZ #NZPhotographer #CoastalViews #NatureLovers #PhotographyNZ #Anatori #DiscoverNZ by @jasminn_paps
Adventures that make me feel excited for warmer weather!! So fun being able to show Kesh all these beautiful places that I was so lucky to grow up around, it’s like seeing it through fresh eyes. Lovinggggg being back! #newzealand #abletasman by @jasminn_paps
Can’t believe it’s already been almost 2 months since we landed back in NZ! ✨ After a lot of waiting, Kesh’s work visa finally got approved yesterday 🙌 which means things are starting to feel really real. Being back in Nelson has been surreal — I never imagined I’d want to set my base here, but turns out it’s a pretty incredible little spot. We’ve been soaking it up as much as we can: exploring, snapping photos (I have so many still to edit 👀), and just settling into this new rhythm. Life has this funny way of falling into place when you least expect it, and I can’t wait to see what’s next. Hoping to share more again soon, but honestly, it’s been kind of nice having a little break from posting too 😊 These photos are from our first weekend back, road tripping with my parents out to the beautiful Nelson Lakes. 🌿 by @jasminn_paps
A day at the waterfall with the fairies 🧚‍♀️✨ Drifting through dappled light and falling waters, we gathered like wildflowers — a circle of women, soft and strong. Shooting for @naturalmente_sa alongside such radiant souls left me feeling enchanted, empowered, and deeply connected to something ancient and true. How lucky I am to have wandered into such magic. Thank you @amelie.sinisterra for making me feel so beautiful, and for capturing these moments of wonder so tenderly. Photos edited by me ✨☺️ by @jasminn_paps
