Exploring Reykjavik for a couple days before embarking on the ship to Greenland. Still dreaming of the butter, the lamb soup & the skyr but what I miss the most is the WATER. The water in Iceland is the best I’ve had, straight out of the tap- and if you know me you know I am a water snob. Looking forward to returning to Iceland & exploring all the nature in depth- on this visit we only had time for the city, the blue lagoon & a lil horseback ride. I have a feeling I’ll desire to return to Iceland many times- it has a very unique energy & landscape. All of the elements are very alive & the people are very pleasant. by @jason.belisha
Body Mastery Retreat was a highlight of our summer. It was very special to share this experience with my man. Diving into embodied connection with self, my partner and a group was very enriching. I made a lot of new friends from this experience too! It was really one where we all got to dive deep together & be in play. There are so many facets to intimacy and it was beautiful to explore this through movement, dance, Kama Flight, shibari & tea. All the facilitation was on point & the venue was gorgeous. Dr. Evan Johnson @becomethemedicine did a wonderful job curating this entire experience with the help of many talented community members. @bodymasteryuniversity 📸 @kiko.frog 📸 @iamlola.love 📸 @taylortosczak by @jason.belisha

Summer Highlight: Date Night with the love of your life at @kappokappoaustin a testing menu featuring a fusion of French & Japanese cuisine. I met Haru, one of the twin brother owners of the restaurant while Ox was in France. I told Ox about it & days after his return home we were there for a flavor journey that was truly unforgettable. So many dishes aren’t pictured, including our favorite bite- fresh uni flown in from Japan wrapped in shiso leaf. by @jason.belisha
@yinyangpink asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday. The vision was set within 30 seconds 🐐🪄🍣🫖 Here’s how it played out… Legitimately one of the most fun and meaningful afternoons I’ve ever had. Thank you everyone who came through and made my dreams come true ✨ by @jason.belisha
One of the most wholesome experiences of my life brought me back to myself through the act of loving others. Of course there was a stack of immeasurably unlikely synchronicities and happenstances that occurred during the trip... but that's not even the good part. The “good part” - the meat of the experience - was all of the space in between the eventfulness. How incredibly “being” the being was. Letting a moment be a moment, at such peace with what it is. Those moments when I found myself - were only when I was completely focused on anything but myself. I think there’s a subtle part of us that deeply needs reassurance that we exist and matter. So we check in on ourselves. And, of course, everything truly meaningful is hidden behind an illusion - so if you really want that reassurance, you’ll find it deep inside the emotional world of someone you love. I just got to find myself there - over, and over, and over again for an entire week. It’s medicine. If I’m not dead yet, then I’m going to keep on living. This year has been a gauntlet. I suffered in health, wealth and relationships in ways most of you don’t know. I’m still recovering in every way, and still trying to alchemize the lessons — but from what I know about challenges, it’s that they are just that. Challenges. A challenge is a type of question to which the only answer is action. You can’t not answer it. Your answer is whatever you do with it. And that is definitive of who you are. Challenges are also the greatest indicators of who in your life is there to help you, and who’s just going to stand by. That helps us take stock of what’s here for us, the goodwill we’ve compiled, and how much faith in humanity you still stand to keep after all these years. by @jason.belisha

A microcosm of all of life’s absurdity. A massive release of all that was inhibited. An opportunity to play a small role in a big picture. A chance to express, impress, and be impressed. A chance to be heavily rewarded and heavily triggered by an intelligent piece of land that smacks you around at will like a pinball and knows what you need. To lead you to the overwhelming conclusion to come back to yourself. And it all turns to dust. by @jason.belisha

@lasikplusaustin did me last week 😳 It’s truly a miracle of modern medicine that we have access to this. Plus it’s a totally far out experience 👽 Now seeing 20/20 with a quick recovery and a much simpler, clearer life. by @jason.belisha
One of the very best events I’ve been lucky enough to attend. Steaks, views, people’s brains & hearts - all A+. Would go again 👌🏔️ by @jason.belisha
