b12 summer! the adaptable body / a research workshop by @jason.martin.3152 coming to the b12 summer festival, from 14/07 — 19/07/2026 at @dock_11_eden in berlin.

find out more about this workshop and the full summer line-up, and apply via the website linked in our bio / www.b12.space

this workshop aims to increase the adaptability of each individual through the development of acute body awareness. guided in continuous exploration, we connect with each part of the body, creating greater sensitivity and mobility. combining somatic and dance practices, each gesture has an origin and purpose, serving to maximise the physical potential of each individual. by exploring different movement systems, we learn to challenge ourselves at all times, from one state to another, playing with intensity, speed and rhythms, and reacting with spontaneity. in response to these suggestions, we no longer limit ourselves to our patterns, which allows us to develop new ways of moving, perceiving and generating movement. these principles are reinvested in the second part of the workshop through choreographic research or by investigating the company’s repertoire.
