Hi! I’m Javy! I’m a Chicago based freelance sport, concert, and event photographer.

I love sharing big moments them to make you feel like you’re in the action. I also love freezing those special moments for you, so you can fully be present with family and friends.

Thanks for following my journey and helping me along the way! I couldn’t do this without your support and advice.

If you need a photographer, send me a DM or email. I’d love to work with you! by @javy_media

Since everyone liked the last BTS post, here’s a couple more photos I took at Chicago Bulls Entertainment media days. We are definitely ready for the season to start.

Avery Cochrane at Subterranean. She announced her debut album and played the title track from the upcoming album.

Excited to see her continue to grow these next few years. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to photographer her again. by @javy_media

Friday night high school football as Downers Grove North hosted Lyons Township.

I tried some different edits this game. No one will really notice but I do 😅. It’s great to get on the sidelines and experiment. It’s also been cool to see all the young photographers on answer their questions. Kids these days are really grinding to get better. by @javy_media

Some BTS from @bulls.entertainment media day. I had a great time shadowing @joepinchin and @mhirschuber. I appreciate them taking the time to talk me through the setup and processes.

I’m looking forward to bringing what I learned to media day shoots to other teams! by @javy_media

Some more highlights from the Chicago Sky season 🏀 it was just too much fun photographing WNBA.

I learned a lot this year and updated my processes to get photos out quickly during and after the game. Huge shoutout to the other photographers who have helped me and shared their tips and tricks along the way. by @javy_media

Downers Grove North’s Homecoming Parade and football game vs Oak Park River Forest. The Trojans came away with a big win to remain undefeated. by @javy_media

Some of my favorite moments from the WNBA season. It was fun to cover basketball in the summer and all the entertainment teams from the Chicago Sky.

I shot these on a @canonusa R5. This season I bought a RF 24-70mm, f2.8. Let me tell you, it’s a game changer! by @javy_media

I’m ready for more shenanigans with Benny the Bull this season. Unlimited popcorn throws, silly string everywhere, and endless costumes. by @javy_media

Finally getting around to posting some previous games and events I’ve worked.

If you haven’t been to a @windycitybulls game you’re missing out. The vibes in the arena are so fun. by @javy_media

Football snapshots from Downers Grove North’s big win over Glenbard West last Friday.

Just testing out some different settings with a new camera that I purchased. by @javy_media

@skyeinthechi Birthday Party was a blast! Ending the night on a game winning shot that was all around Chicago! by @javy_media
