POSTS STORIES REELS
✨15 summers in the Storey House✨ What a weekend! While sweating gallons this weekend doing serious yard maintenance, I realized this summer marks 15 years as the second owner of this 1949 mid century modern atomic ranch I get to call home. She had and has the best bones and just needed someone to give her some love that fortunately nobody other than I was willing to give (yes, the kitchen scared me some too- scroll to see the listing photos 😬). Home ownership, especially solo, is stressful, exhausting, expensive…the list is endless. But, always reminding myself that not everything has to be ‘fixed’ today and throughout the stress there truly isn’t a day that goes by when I can’t believe this was and is what I get to call my first home. Let’s throw some parties this summer! 🍾😎 #lovewhereyoulive #midcenturymodern #renovation #windowsfordays by @jaychristophersmith
When life and work is complete chaos, take 22 minutes and clean the big window ✨ Maybe also breath, get outside and break a sweat, and remember ones privilege for all they have. by @jaychristophersmith
Another Runtoberfest @runtoberfest in the books! Didn’t win the race, but won the grand raffle prize‼️ This race has always been super special for so many reasons, but mostly because it supports our local schools @mcminnvilleedfoundation 🙌 Brocken record: Everyone you know who lives in Oregon probably shared how beautiful today was. It’s true 😎☀️✨ #supportschools #running #physicalhealth #mentalhealth #oregon by @jaychristophersmith
Missed the pink tutu memo, but was humbled to support the Breast Friends organization and their mission to ensure that no one goes through breast cancer alone 🙌💖 @breastfriendspdx is a new-to-me organization and I’m super impressed with the support they provide - check them out! So fun to have two of my @jazzercisemcminnville champions on the course - and it was our instructors first race 🎉 Oh, and the race day universe delivered with the most perfect weather 😎 Last pic might be a top 10 outtake 🤣 #running #funrun #breastcancerawareness #physicalandmentalhealth by @jaychristophersmith
Unsolicited suggestion: Take an entire week off from work in September with no set plans 🙌 #oregon #pnw #lovewhereyoulive by @jaychristophersmith
Today’s office view from 4,097 feet ✨ Mostly running the Mary’s Peak trail from Connor’s Camp to the summit kicked my butt, but I already want to go back 🏃🏻‍♂️ #trailrun #oregon #exploreoregon #pnw by @jaychristophersmith
The Hero-Up race @herouprace has now raised over *one million dollars* supporting child cancer research 🙌✨ Like every race, the Kids’ races were the highlights! As always, huge shoutout to the sponsors, organizers, volunteers and @hubertiming - perfectly organized event! And, perfect weather 😎🏃🏻‍♂️ #running #race #cancerresearch #physicalandmentalhealth by @jaychristophersmith
Not lost on me that I only have 7 minutes left before I’m late, but it’s by design… Wishing the truly happiest birthday to this selfless mother that had the *courage* to allow other parents raise me. @lorettamalessa - ✨happy birthday✨ #adoption #fostercare P.S. I swear I’ll call sooner than later! by @jaychristophersmith
Welp, I lost again... 2nd place in my age bracket…out of 2 🤣 and 20th overall. 9:09 min mile, but felt faster 🤷🏻‍♂️. I mean, we started at 7:30am, so there’s that 😴. Really though, the @auroracolonydays race was full of small town charm and super organized just like last year. Five year old Hunter (2nd video) was my spirit animal and inspiration all morning! #running #race #physicalandmentalhealth by @jaychristophersmith
This was the last thing on today’s never ending chore list. But when the abbey is calling your name and the sun decides to show up, you drop everything, pop the top off the Jeep and head for an elevation gain trail run. No deer today, but still a magical place ✨ #lovewhereyoulive #trailrun #physicalandmentalhealth by @jaychristophersmith

Had a couple birthday celebrations over here today. These two ladies who essentially voluntold me to adopt them 15 years ago are thriving and bring so much joy. HBD Denver + Hunter ✨ by @jaychristophersmith
