POSTS STORIES REELS

Day 30/31 - a song that reminds you of yourself; I couldn't resist doing one of our own.

Had a lot of fun gettin the ol' @persianhugsband boys @jamesweatherleybuss and @henrybelcher on board for this one - it's a mish-mash of old demo audio from waaaay back in uni, and some new audio recorded over the last few days.

We never actually got round to releasing this one, so it'll probably be a new one for anyone who never managed to catch us playing.

hope you enjoy, peace and love x by @jbarrowdrums

A triple threat of early 2000s nostalgia to help round off this little project of mine

Got something pretty special coming up for the last post tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled for that x (Scroll all the way for the worst thing I've ever created) by @jbarrowdrums

Bruno Mars is a true inspiration to short men worldwide x by @jbarrowdrums

While it might seem like gibberish at first listen, 'Taro' is about the German conflict photographer Gerda Taro.
Leaving Germany after being arrested for spreading anti-Nazi 'propaganda', Gerda became the assistant of Endre Freidmann, a prominent war photographer.
In the years that followed, Gerda herself became a conflict photographer, before becoming the first female photojournalist ever to die on the frontline during the battle of Brunete.

Her and Friedmann's stories are a fantastic read, or at least worthy of a cursory Wikipedia overview x by @jbarrowdrums

So are we still allowed to listen to the Jackson 5, or..? by @jbarrowdrums

"but what are NME going to write 3 pointless articles a day about if Oasis do actually get back together?" Tried to get a really big crunchy drum sound on this, think I got pretty close; the snare is a gear4music 6.5" x 14" steel I bought off some guy on FB marketplace, but it sounds huge - best tenner I've ever spent. by @jbarrowdrums

Check out Daft Punk's new single "Get Lucky" if you get the chance. Sound of the summer. by @jbarrowdrums

Day 22: A thousand Miles - Vanessa Carlton

Haha funny joke by @jbarrowdrums

this one's for you @harryhaywardguitar
had to rush this one cause my little drum shed turned into a sauna today, so it's a little rough around the edges x by @jbarrowdrums

this was going to be on time, but final cut shit the bed.

It always surprises me so much that whenever I come back to this album I can still enjoy it time and time again - no matter how much my tastes and interests have changed in the meantime. by @jbarrowdrums

Day 19: Flow - Cage the Elephant

Not really sure what the day category was looking for, but this one's pretty mellow and you get to see me yeet a stick x by @jbarrowdrums

Day 18:
The Prodigy - Breathe
Biggie - Hypnotize
