JCI Aso is not outstanding because it does more. It is outstanding because it is becoming more intentional about why it does what it does.

Last weekend, JCI Aso took our wings to the JCI Nigeria Northern Conference, and what a beautiful experience it was! From learning and connecting to celebrating our achievements, we showed up, made memories, and left our mark.

One of our members represented us at the Leadership Academy.

We proudly bagged awards and celebrated the recognition of our collective efforts.
We connected, shared, learned, and built meaningful relationships. And, of course, we had a really good time!

For us, every conference is more than an event. It is an opportunity to grow, serve, connect, and become even more intentional about the impact we want to create.

Wherever we spread our wings, we bring love and life.

Here’s a little glimpse of JCI Aso at the JCI Northern Conference.

THE HONOUR MAY BE MINE, BUT THE STORY IS OURS.

Some recognitions celebrate an individual. Others tell the story of a team, a community, and what becomes possible when people commit themselves to a shared vision.

Being named Most Outstanding Local Organization President in JCI Nigeria 🇳🇬 @jci_nigeria is one of the most meaningful recognitions of my leadership journey.

But I cannot tell this story as though it belongs to me alone.

It belongs to the @jci_aso members who showed up, the leaders who took responsibility, the teams who turned ideas into action, and the people who believed that we could build something worth celebrating.

When I began the 2026 Presidency journey with #ICE (Innovation, Collaboration, and Excellence), it was more than a mantra. It was a conviction about the kind of organization we could become and the kind of impact we could create together.

Over the year, that conviction challenged us to think differently, work together more intentionally, and pursue excellence not merely as an ambition, but as a standard.

This recognition is a beautiful reminder that leadership is not measured by the title one holds, but by what people are able to achieve together under a shared vision.

To the entire JCI Aso family, our mentors, partners, and everyone who contributed to our journey, thank you. This honour carries your fingerprints, and I share it with you wholeheartedly.

I am proud of what we have built, grateful for how far we have come, and excited about what remains possible.

#ICE was never just about one leader. It was always about building something bigger than one person.

Thank you for the privilege of leading you @jci_aso. This is our story, and I am proud to be part of it. ❤️

Thank you @jci_nigeria and my National President @abitoguna. We will continue to #AMPLIFY.

Four questions every leader should be able to answer honestly. 👀

Swipe through, pick the one that made you pause, and tell us your answer in the comments.

These questions sit at the heart of QLV 2026: Building Systems That Outlive You. Two days, a real workplace problem and a plan that has to work without you in the room.

Fri 6 Nov, virtual · Sat 7 Nov, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja
Registration closes 30 October. Link in bio.

Never done a sprint before? Here’s how it works in one minute ⏱️

At QLV 2026, your team gets a real workplace problem and 50 minutes to build a plan on an A2 board with sticky notes. Then you hand it to another team, they critique it, you respond, and you present it to the judges.

The test: would your plan work without you in the room?

Fri 6 Nov, virtual
Sat 7 Nov, Transcorp Hilton Abuja

₦10,000 standard. ₦8,000 for JCI Aso members.
Registration closes 4 November. Link in bio.

Every Local Organization has people whose stories, leadership and contributions deserve to be seen.

As we count down to The Elite Experience, we’re shining the light on some of the remarkable people across JCI Nigeria; different Local Organizations, different journeys, different strengths, one shared commitment to making an impact.

This is about the people behind the names. The leaders behind the work. The members who continue to show up, serve and make things happen.

Last Sunday was spent at the JCI Aso 2026 Annual General Assembly, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.

Good conversations, good energy, and a front-row seat to the election of the 2027 executives. Congrats to everyone elected and a special one to Shamsudeen Adedapo Aderoju, President-Elect. You’re someone I look up to with a lot of respect, and this new chapter is well deserved.

Good to be around people building things.
