I love days like these. @kirkstallarttrail
Standing in front of something I’ve created that brings on conversations and connections. Can’t ask for much more :)

Yesterday was really something! Probably can tell by the look on my face at how chuffed I was. Sooo many inspiring conversations and moments. Seeing the lil red dot 🔴 on the red sun tops it off. Really fuelling the fire in me to keep expressing in anyway I can.

So much so I had to capture the sunset moment this morning with me lil painting.

So beautiful to see my work in @gargraveartexhibition and @holmfirthartweek :) go check em out!

Very recently I got referred to as the ‘Lighthouse Man’ and honestly I’m so here for it. I will wear that like a badge of honour.
I think my love and inspiration in capturing lighthouses again and again is because of what they stand for. The symbol they hold. Always there looking out for others. Sometimes alone battling through the tough moments, standing strong to protect and keep others save. I inspire to bring that into my own life. If my art can bring a smile or an inspiration or even bring just a moment of reflection for someone I can say it’s all worth doing. But beyond the art I will always be here for anyone who needs to talk or connect/ a lil support. Because I know just how much it can mean!
I can be your lighthouse. :)

No more holiday spam back to painting more lighthouses… 😂 by @jdlee.art

The challenge evolved when I left the papers I was going to paint the lighthouse on at home. Postcard for every lighthouse I see. Starting from now.

From one present moment to the next. I cherish the opportunity to create. To be Inspired by stopping and seeing the painting compose before my own eyes.

A different type of library…

The library Pub, Leeds.

Passing this building every day to get into town I thought it was time I had a go at painting it. Always been captivated by the clock tower on this pub. :)
