That's a wrap! 360 miles from Albany to Buffalo along the Erie Canalway Trail! #IansRide2026 #RideTheErie #GetOutside by @jedi_mackay

We did it again! 3420 feet over 12.5 miles to reach the top of Hurricane Ridge. Hundreds of cyclists participate in Ride the Hurricane, and one wheelchair. My main man Josh Sutcliffe is always my riding partner for this event, and he kicks ass. This was our ninth time attempting to climb that sucker and I now have been successful four times. The first few attempts had battery stretching issues, then the last couple times we had a faster chair that ran into trouble with motors overheating. A slower pace resulted in a success today. 💪

After a rough month my one solace has been getting out on the trail. I was skeptical whether I’d be able to participate today, but after getting some sleep and dragging myself to the mountain, it felt pretty darn good to get this win. #GetOutside #GoodMoment #KeepPushing #RideTheHurricane by @jedi_mackay

After five wonderful years together, we are engaged! I don’t know how I got lucky enough to find someone who makes me so happy. She is brilliant and thoughtful, fun-loving and kind and there is no one I would rather spend the rest of my life with. 16! by @jedi_mackay

In a little under three hours, I’ll be attempting a Guinness World Record for the furthest distance travelled in a mouth-controlled power wheelchair. Should be an exciting and grueling day. Follow my progress on social media Ian’s Ride! #GetOutside #ThisIsMyBike #DontStop by @jedi_mackay

I love doing long rides in my power wheelchair. I’m fortunate to have some wonderful friends who help me in my endeavors. This past August I got to ride my chair down the Pacific Coast Bike Route from Billings, Oregon to Fort Bragg, California. It was awesome, and magical to ride under the redwoods with those closest to me. It was seven days and 272 miles of pushing our limits, laughing with friends, and basking in the beauty of the great outdoors. Here’s a video recap of our adventure. @upworthy and @zappos #ZapposDoGoodChallenge #every🌲body🌲outside #GetOutside
