cool little last few months. a couple of gay weddings and a straight one that was pretty gay, I mean fun, too. the usual travels. 16th year doing Desert Smash. spent a lot of time in Mexico. got our car stuck in the middle of a safari. became a Knicks fan for the month of June. only 6 more months til I'm back on buddy pass but who's counting? spending more time in NYC in the meantime but please don't invite me anywhere, I'll say yes to anything 😞 by @jefegmz

even with 7 new countries and a hundred flights in 2025, cheers to hanging out with some of the best people home and abroad. by @jefegmz

15ish months later and it's finally over. Officially no more around the world traveling. Moving back to NYC in ~3 weeks. will be working remotely + with buddy pass so I'm still meeting up with everyone I promised I would. just finally setting up a home base.🕺🏼🌎🗺️✈️

By the numbers:
My average daily budget was exactly $100 and 343 total days outside of the US - I'm not counting domestic travel, and I spent a lot of time in LA after the 1 year mark just exhausted. Food was my biggest expense, you would NEVER catch cooking in a hostel kitchen 😂 and Diving was a luxury tbh. I know I spent sooo much more than most people and honestly way more than even I expected, my goal was $2k/month haha... but like, live a little am I right?!

PS: DtMF the last few months, I barely have any smh by @jefegmz

$Hit a year of full-time solo travels this weekend! So many experiences, so many memories! - My first new friends on my flight to Japan to start my trip @ariross42 and @karinatherese_ - Meeting up with @_montsita and @aleckmann in Japan - @sheenaliam and @ernestzacharevic hosting me in Malaysia. - No trip to Asia would be valid if I didn’t party with @poojaagill in SG - BBLs and a fractured foot in Laos + special mention to @megan_stephens @lucydonagh and Mar for carrying me from bar to bar ON THEIR BACKS!! - @lulu_belll with the whole Vietnam hang plus immigration police 😅 but I won't mention that one night during Ha Gian Loop @cmor___ 😬😂 - NYE crew in Koh Tao. Miss you all @sarahh_bakerr_ @heyimemiliia @toraabrahamsson - Learning how to swim, surf, and getting my diving certificate in one week in Sri Lanka! + Convincing @sabine_hlz to quit her job and travel for 6 months 😂 - basically taking care of Sarah the entire time in the Philippines, too many scooter incidents 😬😂 - Then went off to central America where it was just cheese, platanos, and volcanoes every day. - Diving + AOW in Honduras with @larissax.h and @julia_pogger - All of Brazil, the best times with @nozgoz @sadieemay @jubastosatriz and the Ipa Crew - Met up @bree_tre @monaris_ @lauraaprado in Peru and basically ate good food and nothing else haha - Got my first tattoo with @drebayybayy because she knows exactly how to trigger me lol - Died in Panama - that's all this country was to me 😅 - Then finally started my euro trip in the Balkans. Schroeder was definitely the highlight. @vvlcky spent one night together but is my homie forever - Met the LA fam in London and Munich - grateful for @heidyak to invite me to Egypt and show me + @saveenamangat around!! So many more people who will be in my life forever. Please keep in touch ♥️ What’s next? Honestly I had all year to think about this but I procrastinate 😬 by @jefegmz$

From Brazil all the way to Mexico, I’m so happy to have met so many amazing people, dived a bit more, ate the best food (platanos and beans all day), and seen some of the best views/waterfalls/hikes+ ever!

who's meeting me in eu? 🕺🏽 by @jefegmz

Just landed in Nicaragua and realized I haven't reflected back on my 4.5 months traveling around Southeast Asia 🥺

Grateful for all the memories and the 250+ new friends I made, everyone who took care of me and literally picked me up after my bike accident, the pho, papaya salads and nasi gorengs, the daily struggle between picking a mango juice or mixed fruit, the 24-hour bus struggles, and even the hours-long waits for checkin.

If we became friends during this time, hit me up anytime, anywhere in the world. 🎉

Anyway, here to relive this but for the next 6 months in Central + South America 🕺🏽 by @jefegmz

Left my crutches in Laos ♥️ 🇱🇦 by @jefegmz

Had to fly all the way to Bulgaria just to tell @eveline_lp that she was always right when we had that one argument in 2019. + A really great weekend of seeing friends I hadn't seen since my Copenhagen days and being a part of EHE's special day 🥰 by @jefegmz

A little road trip through the fjords of Norway 🇳🇴
You know those huge cruise ships? That's that tiny little thing in the background. 👀 These fjords are huge!

Bucket list items once I'm back will be to hike Trolltunga or Kjeragbolten. by @jefegmz

Pre 2 canceled flights in a row recap #imissbear by @jefegmz

Finally did it. The one hike I've been looking forward to during this trip.
Hardest hike (I'm currently dead) and longest for sure (12 hours of hiking in 24 hours?!). Fuego mountain was no joke but worth it.

Thanks to the almost 15 people who've helped me with details and motivation for this hike haha I appreciate you all. by @jefegmz

Took a break from volcano hikes to go see the rainforest instead.

I signed up to volunteer during the rain season so if I don't make it back to work in the new year 🤫 by @jefegmz
