Escaped to the beach for a couple days last week. Could have been longer, but glad we did it and on a dime!

One of my superpowers is planning a last minute trip and doing it at the lowest cost possible. We stuck with free things/highly reduced things around Galveston, learned about the land, and toured the beautiful island. 🏝️ by @jejmccormick91

Happy Halloween, freaks. 🎃 by @jejmccormick91

Our first reading at mass today really spoke to me. I’ve been feeling heavy with so many false prophets and false patriots in our country lately.

America is lost but those of us who are trying to maintain its integrity are being told we don’t love Jesus and don’t love America. That’s not how I fly. I refuse to let evil people who use scripture to hate rather than love, or Americans who think power is more important than helping folks achieve the American dream ruin this beautiful land.

Hate me all you want, but don’t get it twisted, I am what America looks like. I am what a Christian looks like. Help others, lend a hand, stop the hate and stop normalizing lack of intelligence . 🇺🇸 by @jejmccormick91

Have you voted yet? I did! 🇺🇸

There’s still time to get out and do your civic duty. For folks in Franklin County District 6, I would love your vote as your Justice of the Peace. If you are still on the fence, let’s chat! 🗳️

And remember, although it is your right to vote for or how you like, think about the decisions these folks will make for us as Americans and locally here in rural Arkansas. I proudly voted for people over party and have a lot of hope for our community to move past one party’s chokehold on our future. Vote not for fear, vote for accountability and hope.

And as always, God bless America. 🇺🇸 by @jejmccormick91

Early Voting in Franklin County started yesterday! Based on the numbers it sounds like there’s already a great turnout for folks headed to the polls!

Consider voting early from now until November 2nd or you can vote on Election Day, November 3rd! 🗳️

Democracy is something that shouldn’t be taken for granted. Make sure your voice counts! 🇺🇸 by @jejmccormick91

One of my favorite things about living in rural Arkansas is being able to have a bonfire with friends any time you want. 🔥 by @jejmccormick91

It’s been non-stop lately. But here’s some pics from my trip to Toronto a couple weeks ago. 🇨🇦 I love this beautiful city and our amazing office. by @jejmccormick91

The Square Gathering is in full swing! Come on down and stop into @thehowdycompanyar while you’re at it!

I have a limited supply of signs to hand out if you’re in District 6 and would like to show your support for my run as Justice of the Peace in Franklin County!

My district includes parts of East Ozark - up to Pritchard Rd. and the bottoms east of the Dam, as well as all of Denning, Altus, Wiederkehr Village, Alix and Greenwood Community!

I am making deliveries today. Let me know where to drop yours today and we can get you covered! 🇺🇸

I always wear camo in hopes that people don’t see me. I think it may do the reverse though bc we all love a butch moment. 🦌#gaysincamo by @jejmccormick91

Altus was the best weekend. @jejmccormick91 and @jbmccormick88 were the best tour guides! @sarajonmilam was the best planner to put the full weekend together. Thank you all so much.

The day was filled with so many great events:
- Waking up in a home filled with secret passages and a winery in the cellar
- Swimming in a pool located above the secret winery
- Having amazing home hosts who were so knowledgable and kind to tell us all about their life
- Learning how to rev up a Land Cruiser from the amazing Post family
- Seeing an Æolian Player Piano with the original scrolls
- Exploring a gorgeous chapel while the organist practiced
- Having phenomenal wine tastings by the local vineyards

These were all experiences that would have made a single day astounding.

To get to live them all in 12 hours was magical.

Thank you to everyone who made this such a phenomenal experience. I can’t wait to come back and visit! by @jejmccormick91

Happy gotcha day to our little man! It’s been 7 years since we made it official but have loved you since the day we met you.

He drives us wild sometimes but couldn’t be more proud to have him as our son!

Love you @haydenowen11! by @jejmccormick91
