Another stunning museum day, this time at @gettymuseum with their incredible grounds and buildings. Quite an astounding complex up the mountain via the tram and well worth the visit.

Such a great trip with friends that have shown us around their beautiful city and home and the love they have for it. We love the time we got to spend together. We don't get to see each other enough, and are so grateful for the time we had together this past week. ♥️♥️ by @jellynec

Oh #Chicago, we f*cked up big thanks to @friends_of_the_parks . Where our ugly parking lot still stands because of them, LA received an incredible (and self funded) museum filled with some of the most recognizable art that inspires, reflects and moves with its diverse collection. All of this inside a stunning architectural statement piece that could have sat right along our lakefront while returning more of the land back into park space then what is there now. Instead, we still have a concrete parking lot because of a few loud self-assured elitist people who bullied from their high pulpit. Chicago's short-sided and arrogant loss was LA's gain. And boy did @lucasmuseum deliver. Thank you Mellody Hobson for a very moving experience. by @jellynec

This super cute renovated 4 bedroom home in Avondale with a great layout & charm was previously used as an Airbnb, with wow-factor finishes and layout to impress. Three bedrooms are upstairs, including a primary suite with primary bathroom, along with 2 additional bedrooms and hall bathroom. A 4th bedroom and 3rd full bathroom are on the main level, along with an oversized living room area and huge open kitchen with stunning finishes. In the basement is a small recreation room in back and then a completely unfinished area waiting for your ideas. Although there is no parking, street parking is very easy here and it makes for a very private and cool back yard entertaining space. The fantastic location gets you close to the Belmont Blue line, Honey Butter Fried Chicken, Kuma’s, and too many other Avondale & Logan Square hotspots to list.

Chicago, we have some incredible parks. Of course we have the lakefront, Millennium Park, Humboldt Park, Palmisano Park and Northerly Island to name a few. But today we have our crown jewel of parks and probably the most beautiful, intentional, and meaningful parks I've ever been to anywhere in the world. The Obama Presidential Center is stunning. Its landscaping is incredible. Its pathways and vegetable gardens and artwork and kids play grounds are beyond compare. This is not so much a celebration of the amazing President and First Lady, but rather this is a celebration of our city, our people, and people everywhere. This was a gift to us all that was well worth the wait. Thank you 44 and Michelle. With great gratitude.
