It took about 6 months of teaching Ronan (our staffy) to properly socialize with other dogs (he had been in a bad dog fight before we got him and was severely neglected) but now him and Athena (our german shepherd) want to play all the time. I'm so glad we stuck it out and kept him, he's such a sweet doggie. #staffydog #gsdlove #dogsofinstagram by @jenjuniper80

So, I bought a vintage Oscar Schmidt Autoharp (maybe a late 70s model?) this past weekend. Do I know how to play autoharp? No. Will I learn? Maybe. It sounds really cool though, even though I'm fairly certain it's out of tune. So that means I now own an acoustic guitar, a (concert) ukulele, TWO Appalachian dulcimers and now an autoharp. I could start a folk band! #musicalinstruments #folkmusic #autoharp by @jenjuniper80

I signed up for a linocut printmaking workshop on a whim and the class was last night. Here are the prints I made (the pomegranate was drawn freehand). It was super fun, and I am very happy with the results, even if I probably got a little carving happy in the center of the linoleum block and gouge out more than I would have liked. Oh well 😊 #artofinstagram #printmakingclass #linocutprint by @jenjuniper80

PERFECT date night! Going to see #lucydarling ! by @jenjuniper80

So for those who don't know, we never rehomed Ronan like we we planning way back in July and he's definitely made a lot of improvements since then. Today he got new jammies because I'm exactly that kind of dog mom and OMG, he was so excited once he realized what the heck they were, lol. The pj's say "Land Seal" on them. They are from #pittieclothingco. #dogsofinstagram #pitbulllove #staffydog by @jenjuniper80

My newest antique acquisitions! A genuine sewing bird from the 1850s and a sewing awl (not sure the date on it, my best guess is early 20th Century, perhaps Edwardian era?) A sewing bird was used to hold fabric in place (the beak part opens when you press the tail feathers together - this is where you put the fabric) while hand sewing and an awl is used for making holes (such as for buttonholes or eyelets). #antiques #antiquesewingtools by @jenjuniper80

I bought this punch needle kit on a whim like 5 years ago and decided like 2 days ago to finally do it. It's a lot of fun! Now I just have to figure out where I'm going to hang it when I'm done. #punchneedleembroidery #punchneedle #crafts by @jenjuniper80

Congrats to my Altima for hitting 100K miles! by @jenjuniper80

For my Wichita-area friends: Andrew and I have made the extremely difficult decision to try to rehome Ronan. He is such a sweet, adorable doggie, however, he has not been able to acclimate well to a multi-pet household. Please share if you know of anyone who doesn't have any other pets is looking for a very good boy to be a forever buddy! Andrew and I booked a romance package at a cute little 1920s-era Italian style boutique hotel in Kansas City while we're here to go see The Royals play the Tigers. (There's a jacuzzi in the room too!) Happy early anniversary to us 🥰 by @jenjuniper80
