Just to say Hey! Sorry we have been a bit MIA recently 👋

We’ve been a tad busy, but now have capacity for more clients to come onboard.

Half term chaos? Let us do the number crunching.

While you're figuring out how to entertain the kids for 7 days straight without losing your mind (or your snacks)...
We're here making sure your finances are behaving themselves.

✅ Payroll? Done.
✅ Invoices? Sent.

Now that the April fools posts are out of the way, here’s a serious one...

@jenkinscofs have committed at least 1% of our turnover for FY 25/26 to a fantastic local charity: Move More

Most of our team have children, and most of those children have attended at least one event that Dan and the team have organised, from gymnastics competitions through to a multi-school dance festival at the town hall.

I’ve stolen an extract from their website that I think encompasses why our team have voted to support them...

“By supporting schools, families and communities we seek to establish nurturing, positive and stimulating environments that will enable all children and young people to live an active and healthy lifestyle.”

Find out more about they do, and help support them, on their website: https://www.move-more.org/

We've got a really positive and exciting week ahead. 😀

- Our team are onboarding a new client and aiding in the transition of a client's processes from receipts in a shoebox to fully digital, using Xero and Apron.

- We're looking to onboard a 100+ person payroll, which will be our largest individual payroll client to date

- Planning is well underway for onboarding our new team member who joins us next Monday.

- And, of course, keeping all existing clients' Xeros up to date.

We thought it was about time to introduce our newest member to the Jenkins & Co. team Amy! With 10 years plus of working for the NHS under her belt she comes with a wealth of experience. Our very own queen of process and admin. She's been learning lots in the time she's been with us, supporting our payroll admin in the background.

Thank you Amy for keeping us all in check. We're excited to see you develop ✨

Think doing payroll in-house is saving you money? Think again!

Common Payroll Pitfalls:
- Risk of penalties for tax mistakes (a missed deadline can cost you!)
- The constant administrative burden on your team
- Handling employee benefits manually, without automated processes

The truth is, the hidden costs of payroll errors often far outweigh the expense of outsourcing it.

Avoid the risks - let our team handle your payroll so you can focus on what you do best!

Audits aren’t just for big companies (okay, statutory audits have thresholds, but that's not what we're getting at...). No matter the size of your business, regular audits - no matter how detailed - are crucial to maintain financial health.

✅ An auditing process can help uncover discrepancies, prevent fraud, and ensure processes are being followed.

✅ Proactive audits allow you to fix potential issues before they escalate.
