When you live in the coolest place with great local music, you sometimes get to make some photos of awesome events! #mixedinmancos #farmingtonhill #littlewildernessmusic #thecrags #localmusic #meetmeinmancos #mancoscolorado #mancos #swcolorado #mancosoperahouse by @jenmagphoto

Pretty cool when three people come up during check-in portraits and tell you that you took the best photo of them ever during the race last year! It’s a scenic course, and that helps, but I do work hard to get a magazine cover quality photo of every racer out there!

Check-in portraits for @raceacrossamerica are in full swing here in Oceanside, CA! Pretty jazzed to have upgraded to a solar generator to power my strobes (and all the other things in the van on the road) this year, and pleased that the “June Gloom” pushed out to let the sun shine!

Looking forward to another crossing, this time to Atlantic City, NJ!

Media coverage on the Race Across America and Race Across the West Facebook pages with live streams of the start, press conferences, and finish line.

RAAM Solo and RAW fields start Tuesday at noon pacific, and RAAM Team field starts Saturday at noon pacific!
