Somehow half a year has passed and I still can’t believe I get to be his mom 🥹🩵 by @jennamariewong

To the best daddy in the world, we love you 🫶 by @jennamariewong

To be a mother is to give pieces of yourself away daily and somehow become even more whole in the process.

There is a kind of strength in motherhood that no one can fully explain until you live it. It’s in the sleepless nights, the aching arms you never want to put down, the quiet sacrifices no one sees, and the love that somehow grows deeper with every exhausted moment.

These past few months have changed me in ways I never expected. I have never felt so tired, so vulnerable, so overwhelmed and at the same time, so purposeful, so full, and so deeply in love. Becoming a mother has shown me that the heart is capable of expanding beyond what we ever thought possible.

Today, I celebrate my very first Mother’s Day with endless gratitude and I celebrate every mother alongside me. The ones in the thick of newborn days, the seasoned mothers, single mothers, grieving mothers, hopeful mothers, stepmothers, the grandmothers, and the women who mother in all the quiet ways the world doesn’t always see.

everything I wished for ❤️ by @jennamariewong

I wrote this song for the woman who changed my life — and for THE LITTLE ONE who’s about to change it all over again. So for your birthday this year, I wanted to give you something that holds everything I feel: our history, our love, and the future we’re getting ready to meet next year.
You’re going to be the most incredible mother — and you’re already are the most incredible wife.

Happy birthday, my love. ❤️ by @jennamariewong
