Arcadia Osborn is known for its friendly streets, the kind where neighbors wave while walking the dog or riding bikes by. This home was built to match that spirit inside and out.

Extensively remodeled in 2021, the five-bedroom layout blends contemporary comfort with the home’s original character. A split floor plan places the owner’s suite on the main level, while the upstairs fifth bedroom comes with its own full bath, ideal as a playroom or private office. The original wood-burning fireplace anchors cozy evenings, while Savant smart home technology and surround sound bring the rest of the house up to speed. Outside, a heated pool invites year-round use against a Camelback Mountain backdrop, and an oversized, air-conditioned garage with EV charging adds everyday convenience.

Just moments from Arcadia’s favorite gathering spots, this is neighborhood living at its best.

At Avenida del Sol was designed with the intent to honor the awe-inspiring beauty of life in the desert southwest. Every corner of the property is beautiful, each with attention to detail and uniquely curated. For all that joined us on the Home Tour we hope you enjoyed touring this residence as much as we did!

A round of applause for the team that pulled this off so beautifully.

A @jennfromretsy performance that gives Drew Barrymore a run for her money, plus the most unexpected cameo from @erikpetersonarch @phxarch 😱🔪😜

Nothing says Halloween like @tinker_development’s annual October production… and nothing says luxury wood floors like mandatory booties 😂

Love seeing our partners go full Hollywood. This one SCREAMS Oscar! 🏆🎬

Project Avenida has an admirer… 🔪💀 by @jennfromretsy

I saw this dog on petfinder.com in early October of 2025. I paused and thought: that dog looks like he has something to say. He was at a rescue in California, someone had dropped him off and left him there. His name, the description said, was Nathan. After a few weeks of going back to that one picture, I messaged the rescue and asked if they could send a few pictures of “Nathan” standing up to see his whole little self. He had a darling face. His tail looked funny, like a crooked fifth limb - but at least I could tell in the pictures it wagged. Fast forward to October 22, 2025 - and a trip out to a rescue in middle of nowhere CA, to adopt a puppy named “Nathan.” He was so dirty and very smelly. And hesitant. The cautious look from the backseat gave way to a nap on my lap for the last part of the drive. After a bath and some treats, “Nathan” decided this new place wasn’t scary… and curled up. The next day - sitting in the funny way he does - I decided he looked like my black kettlebell, kind of round at the bottom, and “Kilo” popped into my head. It stuck as his new name. Fast forward to his fur growing out, his crooked tail wagging a lot and a first professional grooming. Numerous walks, adventures and rides in the Bronco… and these last 12 months have flown by. 🖤 Here’s to many, many more.

It was also important to craft places both indoors and out, that invite you to take a breath and relax. Using organic textures, reclaimed and salvaged materials as well as tones that exist in harmony with the environment, the team worked to infuse endearing vignettes and character into the home and the land. With so much of life happening on a screen in front of our faces, Project Avenida quietly nudges you to be still, to look up and savor the scenery. In return, it offers a sense of renewal and a deep appreciation for this desert we call “home.” — Jennifer Burgess

HOME TOUR: ONE CENTURY ONE DESERT

AVENIDA del SOL — Also called “Project Avenida” throughout the build process, it was designed with the intent to honor the awe-inspiring beauty of life in the desert southwest. This specific team was assembled by the developer for their individual talents in architecture, landscape design and construction. It was paramount to the designer to create a property that evokes a sense of history and soul, even though it is new construction. It’s hard to believe this was a blank canvas of dirt just a few years ago. Secondly, it was mandatory to make every corner of the property beautiful. As the designer said: We have a full acre, let’s use it all. Every inch got adequate attention and feels uniquely curated.
