Meeting Sung Kang @sungkangsta was such an unforgettable experience! What an effortlessly cool guy, completely humble, genuine and so connected to the car community. The mutual love and respect are 100% real.

Being around that energy is so special and grounding. In a world full of noise, his presence is a powerful reminder that it’s ok to just be.

Endless gratitude to my brother Mike for the VIP access. Truly grateful for these memories.

Happy Birthday, Kalcee! We 🖤 you so much!

*side note. Danny must wonder what’s taking us so long. Meanwhile I’m making us take all these pix 😆* by @jennie_grl

Crip and shit but still locked tf in.

Before radiation, I held 2 gym memberships simultaneously, some days I’d be there 3 times. Zumba was almost daily, sometimes twice a day. I’d run before, between and after class.

Now? 8 years post radiation, 6 years post brainstem and spine surgery. 24/7 chronic pain. Every. Single. Day. Nervous system trashed, body uncooperative and fighting me every step of the way. Everything changed, except the part of me that refuses to quit.

Some train when they feel good. I train while my body’s tryna shut the whole shit down.

I’ve been quiet for a while, struggling and holding onto words I didn’t know how to say.

My aunty Malia passed away.

I think I’ve been trying to find a way to speak her name without my heart breaking all over again, but the truth is, I can’t.

Aunty has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. She helped shape who I am, teaching me strength, self-reliance, and loyalty in ways only she could. She was proud and strong, stubborn (iykyk) and funny, with more heart than she ever let on. She didn’t like attention and rarely asked for help, but she showed up for the people she loved, in ways only she could. She loved so deeply, even when she didn’t say the words.

So much of how I move through the world, and how I love, comes from everything she gave me, even my family nickname, Tita, which she chose because she didn’t want to call me by my mother’s name. Everyone in my family calls me Tita, TT, Teets, Tita Weets, or Teety, all playful variations by something she started, and it’s a piece of her I get to carry. by @jennie_grl

9 years ago I picked up a car, not knowing it would drive me straight into the hearts of those who would become some of the most important people in my life. The kind of people and connection you’re lucky to find even once.

If not for this car, I wouldn’t know them.
Not the ones who say they’ll be there, the ones who actually are. Through everything.

Here’s to another 9 years…

Happy 5th Barkday to @kickin_it_with_kimble, our sassy low rider (named after the one and only Mr. Kimble from Kindergarten Cop)! If you’re into derp faces and crazy food eyes, he’s the loaf for you!

We're so thankful for all the love from friends and family for our fluffy potato!

📸 Shoutout to @nikkijennifer for the fabulous photo of Kimble (it’s obvious which one is hers). Definitely book a session with Nikki!

Mahalo to @thepuahuntahz for their warm hearts and loving hands for creating Kimble's beautiful lei pua kenikeni made specially for him.

The cake that was almost too pretty to cut into was made by @bleubeastro. He loves their stuff! by @jennie_grl

Happy 5 and Fabulous barkday to me!! 🎊🎉🥳my moms got me a beautiful pua kenikeni from Aunty Maddie, Uncle Kalā and Kōnane @thepuahuntahz. Of course we had to go our fav beach to soak up some ☀️. Then we headed over to Public Pet for some chimcken feet. To top off the day, I had the prettiest golden 🎂 made by Chef Anju @bleubeastro.. I’ll be having 🎂 all week to celebrate turning 5. Here’s to another year of getting older and with all of you 💕 by @jennie_grl

And that’s a wrap! The last baby of my aunty Paka has fulfilled his high school academic requirements, graduating from Kamehameha Kapālama this year.

I’ve watched these babies grow and separate as individuals, thriving in their own genuine interests and skills.

Time has flown by quicker than I could’ve imagined and if you’re ever unsure, know this, mom loved you more than words.

Logan Edward - Be empowered by the choices you make, it’s what makes you, you.

Skylar Loreigh - Be aware of the good and bad but grab hold of the good and savor it.

Kyllian Wyeth - Face your fears, conquer your doubts and soar above life’s hurdles.

Dorian Michael - Remember it, connect with it, and rise above it.

The pieces of my heart I left in San Francisco came home for the weekend. They’re wrapped up in some of my most favorite memories, and I don’t ever take knowing them for granted.

My heart was grateful and I was (so)ul happy.
