Finally got to vibe out with @mikeo_leary last night!! Great time with awesome people 🙌🏽 🎶 by @jennyoffthebeat

I had fun making this and want to share! My skincare routine has changed a lot in the last few months (for the best!) and I’m at a place where I am very pleased with how my skin looks but most importantly how it feels. Shoutout to my dermatologist, Dr Bhatia!! You’re the bestest 😀
Dealing with rosacea there’s a lot of trial and error involved but I’m so grateful I found my dermatologist and that everything she prescribed to me has not missed! I learned that you really have to give the products a chance. Especially prescriptions, they don’t work overnight and sometimes things get worse before they get better. A lot of them require patience and consistency. But once you start noticing the difference they make… 😮‍💨. by @jennyoffthebeat

Meet Jenny, a working mom who was dealing with a crazy injury when she found me for online personal training then ended up in Metamorphosis because she was reaching for more. She wanted women in her life that could push her to be better and she found just that 🤞🏽

If you’ve tried everything and you’re still in pain — this story is for you.

“I am so grateful that I decided to go to Dr. Venegas. I was dealing with lower back pain and glute/hip pain for YEARS that at times was debilitating. I couldn’t stick to a training program or really much physical activity. I had gone to my regular physician who performed an xray, saw “nothing” and then suggested I get a cane for support when walking and that I try to lose weight... that’s not what I wanted!

I wanted to work out, I wanted to live my life, enjoy activities with my family and friends. I tried a standard chiropractor who would just adjust my back and do a quick session with the theragun. I felt hopeless because that wasn’t working either.

I started seeing what Dr Venegas was posting about and saw that it was what I wanted to do and I was skeptical but I gave it a shot and I am so happy I did. He didn’t just ease pain, he taught me something more valuable. It wasn’t just the pain that existed but it was my mindset around the pain. He taught me that pain will always exist and the goal isn’t to be pain-free its to know what to do when pain arises and how the importance of building stronger muscles to ease pain in areas that were being overworked because the muscles were weak.

We had 15 sessions together and through those 15 sessions I gained so much more autonomy over my body, I started moving in ways that I had convinced myself I couldn’t. Treating chronic pain makes your like exponentially better! Thank you Dr. Venegas!”

Thank you @jennyoffthebeat for trusting us with your health! You’re exactly who we built this practice for 🙌🏻 by @jennyoffthebeat

Weightlifting was never encouraged for women in the spaces I grew up in but neither was rest. Choosing to step into the weight room was growth. Choosing rest is growth too.

I’ve trained consistently since September. Early mornings before work. Showing up even when it wasn’t convenient.
This week, I recover. Discipline isn’t just pushing, it’s knowing when to pause.
I’m building strength for the long run.
