Thank you @featherheartbooks and Minami for allowing me to contribute my work to Reading Tokyo ꩜

“What is that line doing there?” 、

by @jermbie

Happy to share with you all—my artwork “Imagine a Pond” was featured on The Brooklyn Review alongside a beautiful poem by Carson Jordan.

This is the first time my visual work has been selected for a public feature and I’m feeling so excited and grateful! Thank you for selecting my work! @bk_review

How do I become the scientist? Or am I inherently a lab rat? The day old question. by @jermbie

petalhead New Single 「なないろ住人」 Live @ Koenji 🪻

by @jermbie

From the Journal (Oct 2026). Some thoughts from when I felt like thinking about them (while sipping on hot cocoa.)

On sound (and their containers), nurturing love, creator/creation and its dialogue, etc.

Sometimes, when Joni is misbehaving, I will place her into a box and tell her: be a good cat or else this box is going outside for sale. Most of the time, though, she jumps in on her own, and when that happens, she…becomes an avant-garde art piece. by @jermbie

『The Uncaging of a Paper Crane』

The Uncaging of a Paper Crane is one year old. Thank you so much to everyone involved who helped to bring this album to life ~ we’re so excited to continue sharing this world with you. 🌝

One thing that fascinates me about kanji is how a single mark can differentiate a character into two different meanings. 丸 and 九、木 and 本、今 and 令 (kinda.) Similar in music how shifting the third a half-tone down changes the entire emotion of a chord. All this to say, it makes me wonder what other details I have yet to notice that may completely change my perspective. by @jermbie
