We’re down to the last few surfs of the season and we are in a giving mood.

If you’ve never surfed with us before we’re giving you the chance to come join the crew for HALF PRICE this Sunday (just £15 smackeroonies).

COACH ROLANDO.

This man needs no introduction… so where do we even begin?

Buzzing to have had Roley McMichael on the team with us this season, leading our Adult Group sessions and sharing his ridiculous wealth of surfing knowledge and experience with our students.

Whether it’s perfecting that pop-up for complete novices or getting into the technical specifics with our intermediate and advanced surfers, Roley’s got you covered.

And there’s some proper Jersey Surf School history here too…

Roley was involved with the OG version of Jersey Surf School alongside South African legend Bill Sharp back in ’97, and has since gone on to coach and manage Team Channel Islands at competitions all around the world. Nearly 30 years later, he’s back sharing that experience with the next generation at JSS.

We close our doors for the season in around 6 weeks, which means there are only a handful of chances left to surf with us this year.

SURF & LIFESAVER PROGRAM // TERM 3

Join us this Saturday for our final 8-week term of the year!

As we head into our favourite time of year (September swells, warmer water & quieter lineups) this is your last chance to get in the water with us before 2027.

We have some of the islands best surfers and RNLI lifeguards as coaches with years of experience and knowledge to pass on!

LADIES IN THE LINE UP

Still thinking about this one.

A morning of Pilates, salty skin, first waves, new faces, old friends and a whole lot of girls in the water.

The loveliest energy from start to finish, and such a good reminder of why we do these mornings.

Thank you to every woman who showed up, paddled out and made it what it was.

COACH FREDDO.

Manager of @surfshak_jsy. Co-pilot of all things @jerseysurfschool. And an absolute OG of the Jersey surf scene.

We feel pretty damn lucky to have Freddie Seymour in the mix.

25+ years in the water, representing the Channel Islands in junior comps around the world, and winters spent chasing waves through Oz and wherever else the swell takes him.

Friendly face. Proper waterman. Quietly charges when things get serious.

Freddie and Jake first worked together at the Surf Shak back in 2010. Sixteen years later, they’re back in the same building, helping to steer the whole thing.

A lot has changed since 2010, The love for it defo hasn’t… One of the good ones.
