Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous ; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
This entire verse is powerful, but I’ll admit as many times as I’ve read this verse, I always found it encouraging and uplifting—-which no doubt, it is. But after rereading it for the millionth time, it dawned on me that God is not ASKING us to be strong & courageous, He COMMANDS us too. That hit different for me. This whole time, my whole life, I would credit being strong to myself, like it was something I did off of my own strength. But it wasn’t me, it was IN me, but only because God gave me the ability to do so. The same God who created Heaven and Earth. The same God who can move mountains, who knows every hair on our head, who controls the sun and moon rising and setting, this SAME GOD COMMANDS the flowers to bloom, the rain to pour, the birds to fly, and He commands us to be strong and courageous during our most difficult journeys, not because we can do it, but because He IS with us, carrying us and guiding us along the way. Yes, it’s encouraging, yes it’s uplifting, it’s even comforting. But make no mistake, it’s a command from our Father. Even in our weakness, we ARE strong.

This was my second retreat. I can’t tell you the peace & beauty I experienced here. I lived in a home with 32 beautiful, strong, anointed, courageous, loving, compassionate and supportive women. My sisters, who share the same common foundation, our love and passion for our Lord. I am forever grateful for the fellowship and outpour of unity we all share 🥹 we only meet once a year, yet I feel like I’ve known them my whole life! Last weekend was the BEST, it was exactly what I needed, my cup is overflowing and all I wanna do is pour out and share this joy with everyone around me! Thank you Jesus for bringing me more sisters who are likeminded and on fire for you! Love you ladies! 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾 by @jervonneee_

NEW BEGINNINGS ✨ NEW CITY ✨ NEW HOME ✨
I’m so incredibly happy for this new chapter! No more living almost 3 hours away from my friends & family, no more desert! Never thought I’d be so happy to see & touch grass again lol my dream apartment with a beautiful kitchen, walk in closet & bathroom! 🥹😍 I literally PRAYED for this & I still cant believe it’s mine! The boys love their new home! More pics/videos coming soon once it’s furnished. 💕
PS of course yall know I put Holy Oil all up and through this place lol prayed & blessed this home from top to bottom! 🙏🏾 by @jervonneee_

This chapter is over but I’m not finished yet! I started this journey thinking I’d pick up a trade & ended up finding a major. Then I told myself I’d be fine after 2 years now I’m changing my major (still related just a different career) & going for my Masters. I never actually know what I’m doing lol all I know is prayer, fasting and trusting God has been the source of my direction. & honestly, despite the fact I have no idea what God is doing in my life lol I have never felt more secure in my entire life! College was not originally on my 2024-2026 Bingo Card, I definitely wanted to quit multiple times lol I’ve suffered through panic and anxiety attacks, stressful professors, unrealistic deadlines, very long assignments, & sleepless nights. But to be here, in this moment, it was all worth it 🥲🙏🏾 I can’t thank my amazing support system enough, I did not get here without my village 💙 I can’t wait to see what else God has in store for me! 🎓🎉📚 by @jervonneee_

Barcelonaaa!!!! 🇪🇸✈️♥️ we had so much fun! by @jervonneee_

When I look back at these pics I still can’t believe I finally accomplished a goal of mine that I’ve had for years. Being able to travel with my kids by myself has actually been an amazing experience.
Yes, challenging at times, but a reminder that there’s nothing WE can’t do!
I have never been the type to limit myself or my kids. I want my kids to know despite their differences from other kids, they can do anything!
I can’t tell you how many times I was fighting back tears when my son would say “mommy, this is the best vacation ever!” 🥹
Just knowing that God has my back when it comes to my kids & that He will provide a way for me to make this happen & protect us along the way is all the security I need as a mom ♥️ by @jervonneee_

This weekend was a true testament to how I’m loved in real life. I know it’s my birthday but it’s only right I shout out my people! Everyone went above and beyond for me this weekend! Words can’t describe how favored I truly am. My girls, my family, even people I met for the very first time, energy doesn’t lie. I say it all the time, I’m so thankful for everyone in my life. My sisters, my parents, my siblings, my babies, I am truly blessed! I honestly don’t know how I’m still standing after being outside for 3 days straight but I wouldn’t have it any other way lol thank you all for the birthday wishes, the thoughtful and amazing gifts, & the nonstop celebrating! I love you all so much! 🥹🥹🤎🤎😘😘 #32 #birthdayweekend🎈 by @jervonneee_
