A closer look at how I built the visual world for Time & Place, from the first sketches and identity system to brand strategy, collateral and launch. One of my favourite parts of the process is seeing a brand move from an idea into something that can actually live in the world. The brands that do it best understand that people aren’t always just buying the product. Sometimes they’re buying the identity, lifestyle or culture that comes with it. So maybe the question isn’t just “How do we make this look good?” but “What do we want people to feel like they’re buying into?”🤍 #BrandStrategy #CreativeStrategy #ConsumerPsychology #BrandDesign #CreativeDirection by @jessica.madeit
After working with quite a few fashion designers and brand owners, there’s one thing I’ve noticed: a lot of them are doing everything themselves. Designing the clothes, planning the shoots, creating content, designing graphics, thinking about marketing, running socials… all while actually trying to run the business. And I get it. Especially in the beginning, sometimes you have to wear multiple hats. But I think there comes a point where doing everything yourself can actually hold the brand back. You don’t have to be an expert in every creative discipline just because you’re the founder. Sometimes the next stage of your brand is simply knowing what you do best, and bringing the right people in to do the rest. 🤍 #CreativeDirection #FashionBrand #FashionDesigner #BrandStrategy #CreativeStrategy by @jessica.madeit
