#FinalCrossover of the #DragonsLegacy series by @madidaniellewrites is out November 13th. #ARCreview Madi Danielle does not disappoint when it comes to spice. We hit the spice early at 30% and girrrrrrl it is good. This book focuses on Steele Colver and Maya Hart, two legacies of the retired Denver Dragons. This couple is a bit unconventional due to the 8 year age gap - and the fact that Maya has 3 dads who would drop gloves around any guy who had the audacity to even look at their darling daughters... even if he was raised around each other. Not to mention, Maya has had a crush on Steele for years - and propositioned him at 18. Obviously, he said no, and she held a grudge. In comes the impromptu snowed in retreat where they are alone together in a cozy cabin. Oh No, what could happen... (Spoiler:(view spoiler)). Also, surprisingly, it was the virgin Maya's idea - which is a wild step. 0 to 100 with this little Olympian. They get a few days uninterrupted and boy do they use their time well. Obviously, by practicing for the Olympics, and nothing else... Unfortunately, there is a third act break up - and I saw it coming with a big ol' sigh. I know why authors do this. But dangit, it's one of my least favorite things. Honestly, I think the break was needed, because man were they moving fast (especially you Steele... you said that thing after less than a week. That was fast). However, like, terrible timing on hard break. No snowboarders are killed in the making of this love story, either by dad or by extreme sport... so I call that a win. I enjoyed this book, it was short sweet and setup the next few. We catch a glimpse at who Evie may be getting with and it solidifies the next book with Nash. Can't wait. #DownBad of the #NewRomantics series by @authorbrittaneenicole is now available in eBook, Paperback, and Audio! #Review Well, I'm down bad for Bray. I knew I would be - I mean he is War's son. He is self-sacrificing and a bit self-deprecating while being fully down bad for someone he knows he shouldn't even consider. His Coach's daughter, Vivi. While Vivi isn't Gavin and Millie's biological daughter (and she reminds us constantly how she doesn't have a real family - which like, shhhhhut it Vivi), she seems to have caught the age gap bug from her mom. And Gavin is every bit as hypocritical about the situation that you would think. I very much enjoyed Ford putting him in his place. So Vivi has been placed in the brownstone to help get her back on track for finding what she wants to do with her life by none other but Uncle Beckett. Honestly, I love Beckett. I want all Beckett all the time. He's just the right kind of meddler for these stories. Vivi finds her self feeling ill for weeks and doesn't realize until her wise cousin Winnie calls her on it that she may be in a family way. We find out so much about Winnie's backstory (from before this era but after Mother Faker) as well as what a badass she really is. I can't wait for her book. I digress Anyway, this book is a #NotHisBaby trope with #AgeGap and #ForbiddenRomance. I bet you can figure out who jumps on the puck at the chance to claim Vivi's baby... It's Bray. Bray does it. Once he gets over his trepidation over seeing the coaches daughter. She didn't make it easy - being all cute and such. Birthday boy really hit gold when she gave him a masked lap dance at the club. As always, he's swoony and perfect. I loved this coupling and I can't wait for more of this world to expose itself. Read these! They're a great follow up to the original Bolts. The #CoverReveal and #TitleReveal #IWontbeHomefortheHolidays by @authornikkireid out December 15th. Get ready for your next Holiday Novella! #ReidsRoster by @jessiethegrrr8
#FrozenonSecond of the #VegasVortex series by @authorclrose releases on November 12th. #ARCreview She set us up for a fantastic upcoming series. First, in the epilogue we get a glimpse at the first full length MMC - and we know him. I'm ecstatic for the choice she made on that. But enough about book 1. Let's talk about book .5. Frozen on Second is a second chance holiday romance where they're snowed in for days. And they sure do capitalize on their time together. Slade and Aspen had a 2 month relationship when they were 18 and were taken with each other. These two wintery named singles had a blast in their holiday retreat. Their chance encounter was what they needed to get back on the path to their forever. Honestly, if you want a quick holiday romance - this will do it for you. The setting is a log cabin in the Maine wilderness, where they grew up in a kitschy Christmas town - but we didn't get much time there, since most of their story took place indoors with snow and tons of frosting. Let's just say, they have fun painting each other with frosting colored tongues. Their HEA is won with these two. She is briefly insecure for a fraction of a second in the third act, but he immediately tells her there's no way he's letting her go this time. These two have fun in the kitchen, in bedroom, on the couch, under the mistletoe - you know, pretty much anywhere. His parents are going to need to have some really good cleaners come into the cabin before they have the next VRBO renters come through. Definitely, with the use of a blacklight. Slade has a dirty mouth and a much better ability for praise. I can't wait for the rest of the guys on the Vegas Vortex. We get a glimpse on a few of the players that will definitely get their own HEAs - as well as a pointed epilogue for our first leading man. I. Can't. Wait. Enjoy this, I did! #SweetMotherPucker the final book of the #HollisU series by @authorsarahs is out November 9th. #ARCreview Well Coach Hottie is indeed Coach Hottie - or Daddy T, or just Daddy - to certain family members of the hockey team he coaches. It's not the best practice to date your player's sister - who also happens to be your nanny - but it sure happens in this one. Coach Tremblay is the interim head coach who's scrapping his way to keeping the role. With the sudden need of a nanny, Leo gives him his sister's name - a 26 year old, recently single, and unbelievably beautiful woman with a bachelors in early childhood development. She's perfect for the job. After a mistaken voice-memo, these two people find themselves on path neither expected to be on. A veritable collision course. Obviously, it could only happen once, never again - right? Why do these people lie to themselves? We know it's never going to be once. It was always going to be a repeated offense. This book focuses on a FMC who is dealing with a past abusive relationship and a coach fighting to prove himself in a role he is working his mettle in. We get to meet his cousins - who will obviously be getting a series. And we get to watch a very giving man provide the care needed to land and keep this 10. This was a good final book of the Hollis U series. I enjoyed these two characters and watching their relationship form. As always, there wasn't a 3rd act break up, so don't worry about that. Buckle up and enjoy the ride. Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ You can expect the following tropes: 🔥 #SingleDadxNanny 🔥 #AgeGap 🔥 #PlayersSister 🔥 #HurtxComfort 🔥 #PleasureDom 🔥 #DirtyTalk 🔥 #Praise #TheSmuthood #SarahSmith @thesmuthood #HockeyRomance #NannyRomance #SportsRomance by @jessiethegrrr8
#OctoberWrapUp This month I was able to finish my reread of the #ACOTAR series to be prepared for #ACourtofSplinteredHarmony. As it was before my reread, #Nesta and #TheBoneCarver are my favorite characters. The rest? trash. Especially after #SplinteredHarmony... well Feyre isn't so bad. I also finished the #Priest series with #Devil... and @thesierrasimone said that #RyanBell is bad... but honestly, he's not so bad - minus that one bad choice that would ruin a promising young man's life - if he were to be believed. I had a fun time with #ARCs this month. #DarkHorse was truly the dark horse of the bunch - making it my favorite. I also got to read #RuthlessGame, #ChasingSmoke, #RecklessSecrets, #StayLittleFighter, #SweetMotherPucker, and #FrozenonSecond. I got to enjoy the releases of #ThreshingDay and #OffsideRules this month. While finally getting to #MidnightCurfew and #TheKnaveandTheMoon that were struck off my TBR. I'm one book away from finishing the #WaitwithMe series after finishing #TakeANumber. I'm so excited to read about the oldest #FletcherBrother. I am gonna keep trucking along for November. by @jessiethegrrr8
When good girls go bad, they don’t get mad; they get even! Save the date for December 3, when Ruin Me for Christmas by Poppy Jacobson will be live on Amazon and in Kindle+. 🎉 🖤🖤🖤 A mafia princess is only worth what her father can sell her for. Mine sold me to a monster who’s already buried three wives, and the clock is ticking for our Christmas Eve wedding. To escape, I run to the only men who hate my future husband more than I do, and ask them to do whatever it takes to make me unfit to be his bride. They are breathtakingly thorough in my ruination. Declan makes degradation feel like a gift while Matteo’s praise leaves me begging for more. Too bad when I asked them to ruin me, they ruined my heart for anyone else. Merry Christmas to me. 🖤🖤🖤 Tropes: 🔥 Dark MMF mafia romance 🔥 Plus sized FMC 🔥 F0rced proximity 🔥 Age gap 🔥 V!rg!n FMC 🔥 B!$exua| MMCs (her boyfriends are boyfriends) 🔥 Praise & degradation 🔥 F0rb!dden romance 🔥 Mafia princess 🔥 Irish mob x Italian mafia 🔥 Morally grey MMCs 🔥 Ob$e$$ed MMCs 🔥 Touch her and d!e 🔥 Who did this to you? 🔥 Revenge plot 🔥 Groveling & redemption #Preorder #RuinMeforChristmas #PoppyJacobson #MMF #whychoose #mafiaromance by @jessiethegrrr8
